If at first you don’t succeed, try try again. It took me a few tries (and phone calls) to get a successful resolution to my issues.

Got mine today in the mail from cinema 1. Everything is good the box is mint no duplicate/missing discs it lights up no damage, how ever sadly I didn’t get the slip for afterlife. Is Sony giving slips if people didn’t get them?

They couldn't even be bothered with a box this time.
There's damage ofcourse, but I thought there would have been more damage to the exterior.

Funny thing is that the inside was also damaged, and that was BEFORE it was shipped, because no way a bump could have destroyed the inside.

It's crap anyway, a gimmick and I'll probably put it on the pile of special packaged boxsets.

My copy had a lot of weird internal damage too that didn’t come from the package being bashed around. The two pieces of cardboard on each side of the discs were creased too hell on top. No way the Blu-rays bounced around enough to do that. Lights up though. You only notice this of course when you open it but it’s the sort of damage that drives me nuts

Got a couple of 3 disc 4k cases and swapped them out for GB1 and 2 so I can put the Cleanin' Up the Town doc in the first one, and whenever the Too Hot To Handle doc comes out, I can put it in the 2nd movie's case.

So, my Amazon order (placed 1/2) that was set to arrive on release day (and then went to "Order Received: We will email you when we have an estimated delivery date.") suddenly shipped last night! So, sending good vibes that those in the same situation get shipping notifications soon.

Now to await the package and see if there is damage, missing slips, or duplicate discs. Ha, ha.

Got mine from Target on Monday that was ordered on the first of Feb. Packaged well, in an appropriate sized box and no damage incase anybody is wondering.

Man trying to figure out how to cram all discs in. I think turning Answer the Call into 6 disc mught work but the slipcover may be a challenge!!

I tried that too with GB16

What's interesting re: the cases is that the UK version fits in three fat spine UK cases plus the book and special features digipak, I wondered whether the dimensions were the same as the US one and if not then that *might* have been why the lights were dropped from overseas runs of the box. So I tried the US box with three UK cases plus the book and special features and they don't fit so if they had to rejig the internal dimensions, even slightly, that could be the reason for no lights.

Edit: and someone's just said that ze German set has fat UK-style cases as well https://forum.blu-ray.com/showpost.p...&postcount=116, so coursh it's the non-lights box.

I like GB16 and wish it had been included with a new Dobly encode and the theatrical cut on UHD (though I'm getting used to the extended) but what makes me writhe and twist uncontrollably in said basement is that the spines don't match, AAAAAARGH
