I am not discussing the film here but in that situation it was legit because of the digital inclusion.

Hi, I want to ask if the Czech subtitles are on Ghostbusters II in this edition https://www.blu-ray.com/movies/Ghost...lu-ray/273769/, not on the cover are, but real, whether it contains this disk.

I was watching this today (in honor of the passing of Ivan Reitman, RIP) and noticed some new things.
- During the montage you see Venkman wearing the goggles, when they’re running in front of that ice rink.
-Again during the montage when they’re interviewing Ray about seeing Elvis it’s Dana watching it stringing her cello (for some reason I always thought it was a woman using a loom).
-When Venkman is talking to Peck in his office you can see Janine poking her head around the corner.

I love how I can watch movies I’ve seen several times and still pick out new things.

I received my Hong Kong version of the Ultimate Collection set today.

Unfortunately I didn't put as much urgency as I should have in preordering the USA version and missed out. But at the time of release in the USA (with it being sold out everywhere), Play-Asia still had preorders up for the version from Hong Kong.

The downsides:

-The price (I paid a decent amount more for this than I would have the USA version.... but still a lot less than the going prices on ebay).

-The lack of the slipcovers and light up features (neither of which are a deal breaker by any means, but would have been nice).

-The lack of digital copies, but again, not a deal breaker.

But the upsides:

-It has all of the correct discs! None missing and no doubles. This is the thing that I was most concerned about.

-It was VERY well packaged and protected, and arrived in great condition.

When they confront Gozer at the end and are walking up the steps towards her you can see they left the Ghostrap behind them, just in case.

I just watched the Preview Cut. If you can stand the quality, then it's a fascinating experience, and an object lesson in just how much difference a little fine-tuning can make. The line readings here make Venkman a more acerbic and sleazy character, much more like Murray at the beginning of Stripes. And the scene in Dana's apartment here makes him look downright problematic ('just because I'm a classical musician you think that I haven't been around'). Not to mention possessed Louis and the prostitute.

The cutting is a little baggier and less dynamic (the cut from the Mayor asking 'so what do you want from me?' to the army and police convoy has its impact destroyed by giving Venkman a line in between), and it's interesting to see what's NOT there at this point in the process (like the 'We came, we saw' line).

It's never going to be anyone's preferred go-to version of Ghostbusters, but I am definitely glad to have it and to have seen it.

Actually, his interior is bent like mine. In fact, I haven't seen a picture of one that isn't yet.

I really hope these upgraded discs are rereleased somehow. I need that 2.0 audio. Kicking myself for not preordering, but I had no idea it would be so scarce.

Yeah I don't get that either. My bend is on left side.

On a side note I really want to get some quad 12mm cases, is there such a thing?? I want all special features where they should be...next to respective movies!

There’s a 3-film 4k release that lists DV on the back but does not list 2.0 audio for the first two movies (seems to be Canada-only for now). Chances are though that they are the same discs as the Ultimate Collection, unless they re-pressed fresh discs removing the 2.0 audio (or the DV on the back is meant just for Afterlife and it is just the original 4k discs).
