The Ultra 4K disc of Ghostbusters has Cinavia. Despite the fact there are no PC BD-ROMs the support the new format for computers. AACS LA has outlawed PC drives for Ultra 4K discs. But adding Cinavia to the first two Ghostbusters flicks is a bit stupid. Its been on Blu-ray previously without it. Anyone else notice Cinavia logo on back of the case?

Wrong, the new LG drives with BDXL support all are able to read the UHD BDs. I own one of these myself. And Cyberlink has given a prerelease version of PowerDVD with UHD BD support to authoring studios.

http://cinefacts-forum.kino.de/24421...ml#post8416466 The guy works for Turbine and says that they received an according "beta version" from Cyberlink that supports UHD, because someone or other has to test it in the end. |

Unbelievable Mike! Does it look like the UHD has some filtering or noise reduction being used also? I see more film grain in the MI4k picture. |

I watch my Blu-rays in true 1080p at a reasonable distance, so no problem for me. The difference is just negligible |

You are right about the grain. The grain looks more defined on the UHD version. I had the mouse over(out) part mixed up. Unbelievable that the details are so similar that I could not even tell which was which when I made that mistake! I see much bigger differences between titles that were released before on bluray and then get new 4k remasters on bluray then between the MI4k and UHD!

The uhd version as far as resolution isn't a revelation but more of a refinement. Throw in p3 color and hdr and that's where the difference lies though not gigantic. |
