And I doubt they will. They never released the bonus disc from the SB edition.

Though I do wonder if Sony will stop printing the old discs and print only the DV versions going forward.

Yeah I doubt so too. That is a very good question regarding if the DV versions will replace the first printings. Both films dropped to $10 recently. Perhaps to clear out the inventory! I would assume yes, but it will be a while before we see individual release in DV.

Currently unavailable.

We don't know when or if this item will be back in stock.

Glad I preordered it when I did on 12/30.It's still up for pre-order at Best Buy.

Yup, sold out at Amazon. I ended up ordering it from Walmart. Will you use a forwarding service to get it shipped international. It'll probably still work out significantly cheaper than getting a UK copy from Zavvi.

I was on the fence at first due to the price, but once it dropped to $99 I instantly bought it. We just made the cut!

I paid the $149 price since I had a $200 giftcard with the hope it would drop to $99 which it did and credited back my giftcard account.

I didn't want to take the chance.

It can still be pre-ordered at Best Buy for $99 for anyone interested.Not sure how much longer it will still be abled to be pre-ordered so if people who haven't done so,might want to jump on it.

I'm still hitting myself for not having a time machine to foresee Bridge on the River Kwai's reissue with the mono track. Ghostbusters and GB2 just add insult to injury. And I've been seeing talk here of Leon and Groundhog Day as well. Ugh. If only they had all come out later, when Sony started being so good about including older audio tracks and doing better HDR masters.

Leon is being released by another company. Not Sony. And Japan only.

What's this now? Is a 65th Anniversary release on the way? I never picked up the first version specifically because of the missing mono.

Remember, DV is a type of HDR and every DV disc has a HDR10 base layer.

They added the mono without any fanfare. You can buy yours now. Pretty much all the Atmos and 5.1 only discs should be sold out by now.
