I don’t know, is reading every day, almost hour by hour, how much money Top Gun: Maverick is making not an escape from the drudgery of real life? It’s all so exciting.

Mmm...quiet in here, just the way we all love it.

By the way, yesterday bye bye Jurassic World.
This weekend bye bye Titanic.
Before the month's over bye bye Avengers 3.

* Before the end of October bye bye Black Panther.

It is what it is.

Ukraine Top Gun: Maverick / Paramount: Theater vs Streaming

Paramount gets lift from 'Top Gun' but streaming losses a drag
_____

On other news ... Top Gun (Paramount) is aiming for that top black dot spot (#5 domestic and #12 worldwide)

Time is on their side ... nothing major @ the theaters for the next three months ... it's a free ride.

If I'm reading the reports correctly, the streaming losses for Paramount already are bigger than all of what TGM has made so far... So close, and yet so far...

Yes, it's about Morbius, because for some folks Morbius is a better flick than Maverick, plus Maverick could make $2 billion with multiple reissue dates @ the theaters. ...IMAX and all.
It's like living inside a mirage with a good sense of humor.
