I see Pieter V (as in his avatar) is a Dolby Vision man.

Side note for format folks - HDR10+ specifies metadata, not how the tone mapper will use that information, so its behavior is less predictable than Dolby Vision, whereas Dolby provides the tone mapper and certification as well.

This flick's gonna make one billion dollars @ the post office, plus.

And it's gonna play in lots of IMAX theaters.

The publicity stunts are more than Spiderman was last time. ...Figure of speech to describe the very high level of promotional advertising.

I can't wait to see it with my very high expectations and give it an honest review.
Hope for the best prepare for a reality check. Tomorrow's Tuesday, and it starts to play, in some theaters not far away.

As I left my last stop on the delivery route, my iPod started DANGER ZONE, so I felt that was a good omen.

Just caught an advance screening with a friend of mine who works for a magazine.

Always thought I was quite jaded with the number of action films that have come out the past few years, but this movie is really on another level. I am thoroughly impressed with how the filmmakers have meticulously balanced the technical expertise with 80s cheekiness, engaging action...plus it is surprisingly emotional.

With the investment of putting all of the elements together to make such a rousing film, I really am rooting for this movie to do record box-office.
