Just kidding I took a good look at your avatar a week ago or two and googled Paul and checked his wiki page out. I like reading wiki pages. I've never seen Scarface or any of his films but wouldn't mind checking some out. I don't often go back and watch old films.

i have 9 bottle openers, lol.

*i have 3 multitools, each with a bottle opener
*i have a can opener/bottle opener combo
*i have a standard bottle opener (like you'd find behind any bar)
*i have 2 bottle openers that each came with a pair of swim trunks (don't know the reasoning behind it, that's just how they came, lol)
*i have one attached to an ice cooler stand i made last year
*and i have one that goes with my tailgating supplies

so i'm never without one

Listening to Fleetwood Mac's Rumors vinyl album on a record player like I used to do back when I was a kid. I couldn't get enough of it.

I want to relive that.

to be honest, though..i wouldn't mind getting back into vinyl. i used to have a pretty decent-sized collection back in the 90s. bu ti had to sell it when i moved out west. plus, there's this place i pass by on my way to work that sells a good bit of it and at decent prices.

I understand that a marriage or relationship can be dead but you need to be a decent person and just let them know. It’s okay to leave (unless it’s because the other party is sick - you should just go straight to hell do not pass go) but be up front about it.

what i'm hearing is that Wabo is buying all of us a REALLY cool christmas present.

what i do find amusing is that all that money gets you the same action as one that costs less than $30. all they do is make a piece of vinyl go around in a circle at a certain speed.

and yes, i know there's WAY more to it than that. but at their core, that's all record players really do.

But at $30 you're looking at a belt driven turntable. The belts wear out over time and need to be replaced. I have a direct drive turntable that cost me around $300 a few years ago.

I had a really nice cherry wood turntable from the 70s, also direct drive, but it broke around the same time I bought my new one. It's nice, but it doesn't have the same character since it's not wood.

They need to start making electronics out of wood again, and not that cheap particleboard crap but real wood.
