I've been reading about how chemicals in the plastic used to bottle spring water can disintegrate over time and contaminate the water, chemicals that can cause cancer. Well, sure enough, I've seen tiny white specks of material floating in the water as I'm drinking. Since I can't be sure if it's packaging material or some harmless stuff that probably even comes from my own mouth (food particles) I'm going to assume the only way to be sure I'm not drinking junk is to use a filtered water bottle. Seems excessive but I really do want to live a long life.

that's why i don't buy/drink pre-bottled water (unless it's in an emergency). there's too many chemicals in the bottles, themselves, that can leach into the water. using a bottle with a filter is the best method.

BUT...i use a stainless steel, insulated bottle for water (and coffee, sometimes, too). it doesn't have a filter, but it's also not plastic and doesn't leach anything into the water. and it keeps ice for over 24 hours and keeps coffee hot for over 8 hours.

I try my best not to stare at a girl's chest area when I talk to her but then I wonder if she deliberately stands really close to me so I would look at her and I don't and she thinks I'm not interested - or worse. Trying to be PC (or even gentlemanly) is NOT easy these days.

I've watched The Passion of the Christ twice, when it came out and today. I appreciate it more the second time around. My goodness that was powerful. I'm not a religious man, however the story of Jesus is not only inspiring but a sobering one.
