So because the thread for is probably a bunch of man babies complaining about the previous film, something I am getting sick of hearing about and shows that nerds do NOT know how to let things go, just wanted to say that The Rise of Skywalker looks wonderful and hearing the Emperor's laugh at the end scared the shit out of me. I hate how much "fans" go out of their way to suck the fun out of this series over petty nonsense; These more are meant to inspire joy, not malicious anger.

yeah....i could not care less about what others think of a movie or movie series that i KNOW i'll like. i'm a star wars fan. i have been since i saw the original in theaters back in 1977. and i've seen the original over 300 times. i've seen every star wars movie (with the exception of solo) at least 20 times. i love them all. from episode 1 down to episode 8...even the 2 non-episodic ones. as well, i'm sure i'll love episode 9. and if this is the last star wars movie ever made, then that will make me sad. but i will also be glad that i had the chance to see them all and that they were a big par of my life. NOTHING will take that away. not some punk-ass "fanboys" who think it's their job to talk shit about them because they weren't written by george lucas or maybe simply because they were put out by disney. my thing is, if the newer movies piss you off that much where you feel you have to talk crap about them and dissect them piece by piece just because you think you're the supreme authority on the star wars universe, then maybe you need to stop watching them. or just stick to the 3 originals. i watch them for the pure and simple fact of enjoyment. i can turn my brain off, get into each movie, and really enjoy it for what it is....nothing more, nothing less.

This is why I cringe whenever I see a teen complaining that he wishes he were older so he/she could "start living life" lol. Dude, you're young and healthy and your only concern is that pimple that's on your nose - you have NO IDEA what's coming. LMAO. Life is just a series of jobs we go to. Jobs so we can pay off the guy who wants an arm and a leg for that roof over your head. Thankfully, I find joys in little things like watching movies and enjoying a nice, warm breezy day like today. You have to find that joy in mundane stuff, otherwise you'll just be cruising through life on autopilot where you're just looking forward to your next day off.
