those are my 2 big things, Don. if you effed up, then own up to it and let's get it fixed and move on. it takes very little effort to say you screwed up and get it fixed than it does to not say anything and let it go on being screwed up or to keep screwing up on a consistent basis. if I don't know something's wrong, I can't fix it. also, if a manager/supervisor doesn't tell you anything, how are you to know anything?

I can't stand those that ***** at you for screwing up...yet they don't tell you did wrong or how to fix it.

there are 2 types of bosses....those who are managers and those who are leaders. do you want to just manage your people? or do you want to lead them?

One of my Teammates had a convo with me last night and set me straight. Made me aware of the bigger picture.
I've gotta calm the eff down. It'll be better for The Team if I can relax a bit. It's tough to, while all psyched up and wanting to kick butt. But people are different and I have to recognize that others have their pace too.
I'm home in a couple of days and will have time to reflect on how I can be a better Teammate.

That’s exactly what I said in my interview with both the assistant and manager sk33tr. I even repeated it to the boss’ protege yesterday. Hopefully she’s moving to another store or I’m going to have to shorten her lead.

At least you were open to listening to what they had to say. Being part of a team is never easy. Especially when others aren’t working at the same pace. Good luck Scarriere. I’ve no doubt you’ll find a middle ground.

And it's great having a Teammate that can speak to me bluntly and say "You're fn this up. Get an fn grip!" That Teammate said it to me a while back and I was good, but got a much needed reminder.
That's it. I'm not being like that anymore. I'll do what others had done when I didn't know a whole lot...be helpful. And not so in-your-face.

YT shut his channel down for the 2nd time and I think authorities in Chile have been notified. But it's Chile, so I doubt much will be done sadly. The little ****er needs the death penalty. Animals are just the beginning, he'll probably move on to people eventually.

And yeah, don't seek this out too much. I could NEVER watch the videos, I just read about what he did.... horrible shit.

Left home without my phone this morning and didn't even contemplate going back for it. I've witnessed people at work come back after they've left saying they left their phones and they have this weird look on their faces like they were just told they're about to die or something. Cell phones are NOT a lifeline - people just make it into one. We got along just fine without them 20 years ago.

yep. that's how most serial killers, and killers in general, get started. they work their way up to people after "practicing" on small, defenseless animals.

but i say for this guy, put him in a cage with some hungry leopards. let's see how he does with big cats.

i've thought about doing a week without electronics. well, a week without things that i didn't have as a kid.

no cell phone
no computer
no tablet
no game console

just a tv

There was a weird girl years ago that let her dog lick her in that area. I only got this second hand from a British YTuber that was commenting on it. It was of course taken down but people are kinda messed up and it might be YouTube's fault it seems or at least they attract some strange messed up people

I think things are progressing nicely with Gladys and I but I've been single so long and I just can't stop noticing other girls. Granted, this is California so there's a lot to see out here but I'd really rather just not notice them. And it's not like I'm eager to hook up with anyone else but I would just rather not even have them register.

Also, I haven't had many serious girlfriends but I think the idea of spending quality time with multiple people in a lifetime seems kind of...I don't know what the right term would be. But just maybe cuddling with a girl on the couch and you feel good about her and then things don't work out and then you're cuddling with another girl on the couch and whispering things in her ear. It just seems strange to me sometimes

Are any of you guys out there "crazy" drivers? You know, impatient, always laying on your horn, not signaling turns, etc.? How did you get to be that way? I ask because I have very little experience driving and am about to (try) to embark on taking lessons and finally getting this done. I have this warped vision of driving being fun but most drivers I encounter on the street seem like frazzled, frustrated maniacs who'll think nothing of sideswiping people who get in their way (or worse) and I'm just curious how long it'll take for me to get that way.

It feels like I have to return 70% of anything that I buy online. It really isn't acceptable to be receiving all of your orders with smashed cashes, completely damaged edges and spines, etc... sad that this is the way of the future when it comes to shopping.

that happens a lot on amazon. and i just love the reviews by people who never even bought the item. they just give it a 1-star rating because it's out of their price range ("this is too expensive...1 star"). well, the hundreds or thousands of other people didn't think so.
