I wouldn’t mind getting a pair of brown shoes. I’m looking at some from Le Coq and might check out some other brands as well.

Just walk through a pile of fresh dog poop. You'll get them brown in no time

On a serious note, I took a vacation day today. Man, daytime television is every bit a wasteland now as it has ever been. Maybe worse. Do people who don't work actually sit around watching all that junk on a regular basis?

Have a request for the Google Chromecast Uktra from a guy in Israel that I source for. I’m wondering if it might go on sale during Black Friday. He was also interested in the price on the Air Pods 2 o wondering about them as well.

Dead as in not living. I am sick of life. I wish for it to be over now.

I saw an ad in the Subway the other day for GEICO car insurance. The ad said GEICO has been serving folks for 80 years or something. Seriously? Were they known as something else because I've only started seeing ads for GEICO since about 1994. Did they not advertise before the early 90s? Another insurer, EmblemHealth, claims to have been around since the 30's. Whoa. I've literally NEVER heard of them until about a year ago. Is there a scam going around of startups claiming to be decades old or something?

In the late 90s there was a business in my hometown growing up that claimed to have been around since the early 1900s...thing is, they had just opened up! I once found out the building they were in was built in the early 90s but not the business obviously...false advertising much?

according to their site, they've been in business since 1936.

full story, here.

when i first moved to oregon (back in late '99), i'd never heard of farmer's insurance. it wasn't a thing in the southeast (as far as i was aware). but now you see commercials multiple times a day for them. sometimes, it takes a bit to get a hold, geography-wise.

Thinking about Dicks.

DICKS SPORTING GOODS! Gosh, people...

In their Black Friday ad, they have a complete set of golf clubs for $130. Was not planning on that.... !!!

I know it's a 'cheap' set, but its a complete set, and I have never golfed before and would like to learn.

What's the deal with Popeyes Chicken sandwich? It looks like it's just fried chicken on a bun. People are stabbing each other to death over it and inmates are sneaking them into prison. Does it have some kind of magical seasoning?

I already have a constant craving for Chick-fil-A. I’m too afraid to try the Popeyes one.

I really love the Chick-fil-A sandwich.

And I think the Popeyes sandwich is even better.

it better be the most magical, give-me-a-blowjob-and-make-me-breakfast-in-the-morning, chicken sandwich in the goddamn world to go through all the bullshit of getting one.

but it's not....and i've never even had one.

it's a ****ing chicken sandwich....not a bar of gold!

I like shopping there for select items but I do understand that some of their recent statements and actions are stupid.
