The GNWT has made it clear that “Outsiders are not welcome”.
I’m certain that I’ve got the required paperwork for them to let me back in, but I’m still a bit nervous.
I’m a born and raised Northerner so they better fricken let me in.
I’ll know in about an hour and a half.

Sometimes it helps to just walk away for a bit. I took a week of vacation recently just because I was getting so burnt out at work that my attitude was starting to show. That week off helped me forget about work, especially when the week started with my dog dying, a girlfriend backing out of the relationship we were forming, and my debit card getting used for fraudulent purchases. It wasn't the best "vacation" ever, but it helped my attitude when I got back to work.

Best of luck to ya, though. Take the time off. Watch some movies. Pound some beers (if you drink), and just enjoy the break.

no everything good i'm going to wait until tomorrow rent 2 movies redbox I do have a 25 target and 50 dollar best buy gift cards want to use

I just don't want to screw up order stuff today and tomorrow be broke since still have to pay Netflix next weds

I never understand how people can feel comfortable buying until they're broke like that. I'm not the kind of guy to count another persons money but it would give me an insane amount of anxiety.

He's living with his parents if I'm not mistaken. Not having to worry about becoming homeless or getting evicted for non-payment of rent removes a huge burden, freeing you to spend frivolously

i'm also disable drawl money ssi but they don't give me a lot ok I just found out reason why because best buy put back the funds from birds of prey steelbook but since got shipped today they going to take it back out when don't know

so ignoring that I actually have from yesterday 158.70 i think will do gift cards on movies save money and then see how much have left after pay Netflix next week at least I don't have to worry about invisible man 4k next week saw that theater's don't think want that movie

i'm not sure if i can order jaws standard 4k or steelbook on 2nd or have to wait until 3rd when get paid

Have you considered using a credit card? They're useful tools if you don't go overboard and if you repay in full each month. I can't imagine risking an overdraft or a fraudster getting access to my bank account.

I work night shift at a warehouse on a 4/10 schedule. It seems like in the last month, the nights have begun taking for-ev-er to get through; so much so that a 10hr shift seems like a 20hr shift. And I've noticed myself waking up later and later in the afternoon, too. I used to get up about 3pm, but now I'm pushing my alarm back to 4 or 5 o'clock, and I'm still tired when I wake up.

Unfortunately I can't leave this job (bills and stuff), but I think it's time to start looking. The nights used to go by fast when I first started here back in October of 2019. Now they're just slow as hell. Schedules are slightly different for the dayshift team, but maybe it's worth trying to transfer.
