This is true. These are the some of the same morons that wish people a "Happy Memorial Day," too. That's the thing that really burns my ass. I never served, but I was taught common sense and respect from an early age, and the wisdom to know what the day is about (and what it's not about). One of these days, I have a goal of going to Arlington to volunteer to put the flags and/or wreaths out.

I don't get to mad at people that don't understand what Memorial Day is and why it is really important to some. I try to take that time to better educate them. Sadly most Americans don't care and as you said just think of it as a day off. Which isn't a bad thing, just they need to understand what the day is really for. For me as a Veteran it is really important to remember why we honor the day. Not only for those that we lost in past conflicts but also because my unit lost two people as well.

I try to post this for people that forget the meaning.

Thinking of dropping the $30 a month gym membership and switching to a $9 a month plan. Due to how gross people are, I will continue to lift at home and switch my weekday runs to the dreadmill because super hot. Lot easier to justify $9 a month versus $33 a month when I'm only going twice a week.

So that's why I couldn't PO Manta's new Once Upon A Time In Hollywood set...because it was the 28th all day and not the 29th

I watched a couple short clips of Joe Rogan's podcast on YT and they were pretty interesting.

Just basic access at a Club Fitness but due to CO-VID 19 I have zero interest in lifting around other people. Especially since I am guessing pretty much every gym is going to close off half the lifting equipment and machines.

For years I've been wanting to digitize my CD and record collection but it seems like such a daunting task. I think I'll just buy a CD changer on Ebay. I don't really listen to music "on the go" much anyway.

wondering if the TG16 mini is being shipped without the USB cable since I got the replacement and it didn't have it either. I'm keeping my first one since I have saves on that and sending back the replacement one

EDIT: replacement had the USB cable which I took out and still would send the replacement back.

I go crazy if I don't have music playing in the car that I have on my phone. The radio plays the same 5 songs over and over.

sometimes i'll drive with nothing playing. but most times i've got my phone playing through the bluetooth in my truck with music i want to hear. 'cause you're correct...radio stations like to play the same songs over and over, again.

I don't drive but are MP3 players still a thing? I don't own a smartphone.

I purchased a 128GB iPod awhile back to replace the 160GB Classic that I had lost. I like having a device that's dedicated to only music. While the iPod has a number of other features, I pretty much use it solely for music.

Agreed. I subscribed to XM Radio one time since the local stations around here are crap, and not only was XM friggin expensive, but they talk, and talk, and talk on these segments between songs, and I got fed up an cancelled. Now, if I'm just driving locally (like to work or the store or whatnot), it's silence. If I'm going on a trip, I hook up an iPod.

I agree. I love my 160GB Classic. I've had the original Shuffle 2GB nano 1st version. I just love have all my music in one place and dedicated to it. I just want my phone to be a phone.

You can make tea from dandelion roots, also stinging nettle. It's healthy too, or so I've read. Doesn't sound appealing, but they're everywhere in my area so I'll try it.

I thought dandelions are supposed to be poisonous?

I woke up Sunday morning with a bump on my forearm - the kind insects like mosquitoes sometimes leave when they bite - but this bump was slightly larger and made my arm feel like it was on fire (slightly). A mosquito didn't cause this - any ideas? I took an aspirin and applied some cortisone and that seemed to help a little but it didn't get rid of all of the feeling of warmth in my arm until this morning. This weekend I also felt like crap overall but this morning I woke up feeling fine.
