I am 44, a lot of people think I look 30ish for some reason though.

I actually didn't read much between 1998-2023 aside from the 7 HP novels and the first 3 HG novels.

That's why my guess is 15- because I know I read a few other things as well by John Grisham and Anne Rice. Still quite an achievement, especially since my ADHD makes it hard for me to focus on reading for extended periods of time.

Done with NEO for the day, going to finish eating lunch and start doing online trainings on my work phone before I go run 4 miles at 3:00.

Wow! When you said you graduated 3 years ago, I then assumed you're younger. My bad.

I graduated from high school in 1998. I graduated from NMSU in 2021, much later.
Doing onboarding trainings for my new job in the background, will take a break from that in a bit to go run 4 miles at the gym. Getting used to running on Mondays, pretty much the only day of the week I haven't run on often is Friday.

Still thinking about whether I want to try and get a motorcycle or perhaps an SUV that I can have a little light off-road fun in. I wouldn't mind getting a Bronco Sport (cheaper than the regular Bronco) or a Jeep Wrangler.
I'm also thinking that maybe I don't really need a motorcycle or SUV and I can just use the money to travel and get back to Europe. I tend to obsess over things so this is on my mind quite often.
I can also just not spend the money on anything and keep saving but where's the fun in that

Making my way at a steady clip through these, get the impression that the sooner I finish them, the sooner I start working for that employer.

i graduated high school in 1999 i always hated growing up that i was older then my friends due to being born late in 79 aka day after my dad birthday his 21st april mine 22nd , but then i got over it over the years

throughout elementary junior and high school i was able to go regular school classes besides special ed classes mostly due to math i barely graduated with hs diploma i always hated math never was very good had tutor junior and high school either at school or at house

i even try to work marble slab at the time when it was open but nada tech college folks try to do something at hospital nada now i did youth years between 95-96 clean inside , bathroom and poles outside sonic summertime that's about it

i could get a job right now but don't really want to never had a girlfriend don't drive despite was pretty good learners permant drove around town i guess due to don't want to these days plus fact i got motor skills and stuff

was taking taxies before covid hit but afterwards my dad sometimes take me places these days go movies walmart plant fitness not much to do in my little town esp since friends all gone grown up left kids of their own did had 2 good friends but they both died 1 few years ago due to cancer and another recently died when he was supposed to get a device help his bad back loss oxygen to brain a1c was high shouldn't had surgery<-i believe his wife did sue the doctor btw

Go with the Jeep. It comes with a Mcintosh CD player. I don't care what people say about them. I still think Mcintosh is DA BOMB.

Dude, I first read that as 1988 and got confused again. It doesn't take much to get me confused. You graduated high school when I was in college (boy that didn't turn out well). You're just a baby.

Jeep sounds good. I'd be happy with a Jeep. But eww, you're old. What are you doing hanging out with the youngsters old man?

Horizon or Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes today? Decisions, decisions...

.
No CD player. They stopped putting those in most cars 5 years ago. But a very nice sound system likely made with outsourced parts.

McIntosh is great until you’re $8k unit breaks and Mc tells you they cannot fix it. That is a true story. Do you have any gear? I have a really expensive paper weight at the moment. It was a really nice Blu-ray player.

All this talk about age…American Pie turns 25 today.

Actually, Jeeps have a Mcintosh CD player in there. I think that's about all Mcintosh makes. At least, It's their bread and butter.

People are so addicted to their phones that they don't even bother hitting the gas when they're sitting at a light and it goes green. On an almost daily basis, the quiet morning is pierced by the sound of honking horns and revving engines.

I want to say Mc announced the Jeep partnership 3 years ago or so. I just punched in the Grand Wagoneer and a CD player is not mentioned on their latest model. Perhaps it was available previously. I’m not a Jeep guy.

I do not see a slot for the CD.

Pennsylvania just passed a new “distracted driving” law that will begin next year. It’s going to generate a lot of revenue for the state.

Distracted Driving should be classified under DUI. It's a start for PA but people don't generally acknowledge such laws, much less respect them. I think they need to start impounding vehicles. Take it away from them - it's the only way they'll learn. Suspending or revoking licenses does very little...people will drive anyway.

I agree that many won’t respect the laws. I think NY implemented a 3 strike rule for texting until you lose your license. Like you said, people still drive anyway.

I dont understand why this can't be solved easily by just not allowing phones to receive incoming text or calls while in motion. Something that can easily be programmed in to every phone, but no let's not keep it simple stupid..

And i lived at a time were there was no cell phones or even pagers for that matter, it is not a needed necessity while in motion, and can absolutely wait regardless how important it might be!

This story should make any right minded person angry. He should be swinging from a lamp post the arrogant piece of shit. Doing 140mph whilst pissed and taking selfies. The outcome was not good.

Ah, I see. I thought they did. My mistake.

I'm pretty sure I'm older than you and I can clearly remember cell phones and pagers. Heck, my dad had a cell phone in his car. Those things were all the rage back in the 80's.
