Someone is telling people that it's OK to wear brown shoes with no socks and blue threads. That it's cool to wear tight highwater pants with pink socks with little brown bears. They're telling people not to tie their sneaker laces and just let them hang. Who is giving people these terrible fashion tips? Do they consult a handbook or something? Everybody looks the same

Operations Manager or Site Lead from my old warehouse in Utah came for a tour, because this state is where the company is headquartered and ideas are tested in this building. I had a feeling I'd see one of the old faces from management, since so many of them had already come up here to WA for business and a couple gave me info and restaurants to visit, but was still a surprise. Three states. I said it was nice to see him. Should have said more, but we were never that friendly. In my dreams, he would have asked me what I thought of this site as someone who worked THERE for two years and I would have told him all the ways in which management here is dumb.

I finally saw an actual Cybertruck in-person recently. I was @ a stop sign and the truck was making a left turn about 20-feet in front of me.

I saw one in Jersey but on a country road. Quite a looker. Must’ve been lost lol.

I'm still stunned I've seen at least 2 here, guessing both were from out of town. My brother bought 1.

It would have to be a hot naked man for it the damn thing to be a looker, still. Or at least a halfway decent-looking half-naked woman. Those things are ugly than the inside of a person's rear.

I need to figure something out regarding my sleeping schedule. I went from a 4am start time to a 10pm start time. I wasn't getting 8 hours of sleep every night with my old schedule but I could probably be asleep by 6pm most nights if I tried and then wake up a little after 2am (early start to commute by bus). I actually called in sick last night so I got normal sleep. I think I woke up around 6am or so. I was hoping to sleep from about 6:30pm to 9:20pm but I have a feeling it's going to take me awhile to get some sleep.

I'm not a big fan of waking up too early and not being able to fall back asleep but I'd say not being able to fall asleep when desired is just as much a pain in the ass

Heat is what keeps me from falling asleep right away. I'd counter it with my fan I use in my room but it's loud so just I wait for my body to stop caring about hot it is.

Just finished Rogue Lawyer, my 22nd novel this year, going to start Quicksilver in a bit!

6:12am and I’m off work in 18 minutes. Clam chowder and a bike ride after work? That was the plan but now I’m thinking I might just head home. Think I’ve been up for about 24 hours so should probably get some sleep sooner than later.

Edit: I originally posted this in the "Anger" thread by accident. Now 7:11am and I just got out of the shower feeling so fresh and so clean, clean Not tired yet so going to maybe kick back with some WWE2K19 which has become my routine. I'll normally play a match or two and then let the computer play itself. I'll set an alarm for about ten minutes so I can nap but I'll often sleep for an hour or two. I'll try and not do that today because I want to swing by the motorcycle shop again and take some mental notes.
I'm hoping to take the motorcycle riding course this coming week which will put me one step closer toward getting my license, provided I pass the course.

My half-awake brain was telling me "hey you can save space in that box of random room stuff and electronics if you put all the remotes in the TV box". Moron, your TV is not going to Iowa with you. You would've gotten to Iowa and wanted to enjoy all your electronics and all your remotes would've been sitting in a garage in Las Cruces!

Time to finally open that TV box I overpaid for and put the TV inside it.
