Over the last three weeks, I have dropped 17 pounds. I am currently seven pounds away from my all time low weight as an adult. What is the secret? I don’t know. I just hope that it is not a medical issue; I have made no conscious effort to do this.

I would consider talking to your doctor. If you haven't changed your diet or your activity level, that's definitely odd. If you're trying to lose weight, a couple of pounds a week is normal.

I would definitely talk with your dr if you’ve lost weight with little to no effort and no change in your diet.

I don't think I've been on a mountain bike ride (besides going to and from light rail and bus stops) since August, before I went to visit my parents in Georgia. I'm looking forward to getting back out there once it warms up.

Thinking about how I'm going to spend my Christmas. It'll be my first one completely alone and it looks like it'll be 65 degrees outside here. Technically I celebrated Christmas with my family last week, so it'll be just another day for me sans having to work.

Enjoying the 3 For Me at Chili's and trying to decide if I want to get a slice of cheesecake. It's about $6 cheaper when you add it on to the 3FM deal. Restaurant desserts are getting crazy expensive in my opinion. Anyway, not hungry for it right now. I can get it and take it home but I'd probably prefer to have it here. So, that's what I'm thinking about. Here is a slice from another day.

I am having an MRI done tomorrow to see if I have prostate cancer. I know how to kick things off for Christmas week.

I should be able to enjoy Christmas Eve and Day before getting right back on the medical merry-go-round on the 26th for 5-6 hours of cardiac tests and treatment.

I get to start New Year's week with an MRI, too, but this time of the

. I should have been a party planner.

Tonight is my one night off for the week and I wanted to get some snacks since this will be my Christmas celebration. I'm at Barnes & Noble and was going to walk down to Walmart but I'm too lazy so I think I'll go home without any groceries or snacks for tonight's film. I have some snacks at home though so not a big deal. Not sure what I'll watch yet but I may go with Curious Case Of Benjamin Button which I haven't seen in years.

I did want to stop at Best Buy to look into getting a Carnival cruise gift card so maybe I will end up walking to Walmart.
