I think I was able to order but I didn't pay a whole lot of attention. Of course, I was looking at Blu Ray so that may have something to do with it. Yeah, that's it. It does say that both are available in store. I'm actually on a CS chat with B&N right now. My account has been locked. They want to send a code to my original Hotmail account which has been locked for over a year.

Patagonia is having a winter sale. I want some stuff. Cafe Leather is having a sale, I want some stuff. Fjallraven isn't having a sale but I want something. Le Coq Sportif is having a sale and I want some stuff.
I'll have self control today and not buy anything. But how long will that last?

I forgot you prefer BD over 4K.

Patagonia is good stuff.

I’m feeling like pizza buffet for lunch again. I had a Mountain Mikes less than a mile from my apartment that I hadn’t known about. The price was the usual $17.49 that I expected. What’s neat is that the drink is optional and it’s nearly $7 less if you don’t get the soda.
I’m headed to a different B&N for Inglourious Basterds and then I have more hangers to pick up at The Container Store. When those errands are done, I think it will be close to pizza time

$7 more for just a soda? That's a price that I would expect to see at a movie theater concession stand. I wouldn't pay that much for a high fructose corn syrup sweetened soda anywhere- and diet sodas are always out of the question, too.

Yeah, that is crazy but I like the fact that you can save that much money if you don’t get the drink. I may still get the soda, I’m not sure. The plan was to hit Taco Bell for happy hour and get the medium soda for $1 but not sure I’ll be able to go without while eating pizza

Damp roads and a slight blip of the throttle = an expensive fubar.

Someone has some explaining to do.

Going to go back to Ferrari for a full rebuild. Nice.
So, the car was in for a service apparently and ended up like that. Insurance bill will be interesting.

IF they can even get parts for it at this point. Either way it won’t be cheap for the insurance.

They've rebuilt F-40's before because it's more cost effective to do it. Same scenario as Rowan Atkinson's McLaren F1 and the two crashes he had with it. He sold it years later and still made a huge profit.

These super exotics would have to be seriously mangled before they would be scapped.

Reminds me of that Lambo crash at nearly 200mph. In-car footage so you don't actually see what the car does like you do with the Ferrari video.

There’s a video with Jay Leno where he goes into detail regarding his F1. I’m pretty sure he purchased it new. Let’s say it cost him a million. Now it’s worth 20m now! just wild. I saw one at the NY Auto Show about 10 years ago, but the line to get up close was a 2 hour wait. Wish I waited but my friend didn’t want to.

If anyone can rebuild a Ferrari super car it’s Ferrari. Most of those body panels are carbon fiber so they can probably make the molds fairly easily in house. I doubt they have many parts laying around though. 1300 cars produced.

Aye, the insurance will insist on it being done to Ferrari standards I expect. I'm sure there are a few speciality shops that could do it but would it be given the nod of approval? I doubt it. Many hundreds of thousands to fix that you have to think. Wonder if that service technician still has a job?

I watch Jay Leno's show on YouTube and he has a collection worth 9 figures+ so he must have some serious insurance. He doesn't rate Ferrari much if I recall. I'm not sure if it's the cars he dislikes or the hoops he would have to jump through to own one. He talked about it recently.

Heh..yeah Jay is not too fond of Ferrari. I think his reasoning is a bit overblown. Yes, the buying process is rather ridiculous with the exclusivity/loyalty factor, but he would have no problem getting one given his celebrity status. Not to mention his YouTube channel. He should have a few in his collection.

Just did a quick search to see who has the largest collection of Ferrari's and there are a couple which stand out. David Lee and Luc Poirier must be at the top of the pile. Although they look great in their oversized sheds I would be driving 'em . They need to be driven. Can't say I like yellow cars though. Terrible colour.

I think Sammy Hagar has a Ferrari collection.

Got a couple of movies shipped from Atomic Movie Store in Lawrence Kansas on the 14th and immediately they scanned it Processing Exception, Regional Weather Delay. 4 days later still no movement. Had another one from there last week was only 2 days. Not complaining or mad its just on my mind.

Prolly getting around 6” here in the northeast. No mail tomorrow but USPS delivered two Amazon packages today.

I had a film come in from the UK. Disc is mint! Other film was FUBAR’d thanks to the plant in Mexico. WB release- Horizon. Yet another return. So tired of this.

I thought Horizon was alright. I'd be down to watch it again. What I thought was really awesome was one of the first things we see being David O'Hara and then I believe the first character that has any lines is Angus Macfadyen. We just needed Brendan Gleeson and it would have been a Braveheart reunion

I thought it was alright as well which is why I recommend picking it up on sale.

Hopefully Costner will make the remaining films although I’m not sure if they’ll get a theater release.

I liked O’Hara in The Departed.
