Good for you man and good luck. I dropped it cold turkey about 7 1/2 years ago and am here to tell you that you can do it. Mind over matter buddy!

Congrats John, I'm sure you will make it to your goal this time . The insurance my buddy gets where he works is paying for the stuff for him to quit so he is taking advantage of it

Good for you John. I really think it's 9/10 in the mind to quit. I tried multiple times, but never really succeeded for more than a couple months. Then one day my daughter, she was 4, asked me why I smoke. I didn't have an answer for her. At least, not one she would buy, LOL. That was it for me, it helped my determination, and now I've been smoke-free for 3 years, and don't ever want to go back.

Get it done John, we're all rooting for you. And just think, when you quit, you'll have all that extra cash to spend on some sweet vinyl.

Thanks everyone for the show of support! It's been only 3 hours and I just had a major craving, but I beat it. Started doing something else to take my mind of it, and it's now passed. Phew!

As for spending, hmm.. I'll pay it off in a few months.

Oh and I'm getting a bonus next month so that helps a little. That will go towards car maintenance on my Ack.
