a lot of people tend to live outside their means and buy more than they should. yeah, it's their money and they can with it what they wish. but then i see a lot of people who make 6 figures....HIGH 6 figures...and still don't have a lot to show for it. they just keep buying and buying without ever putting anything away into savings. then, something drastic will happen and they have to scrounge or ask for help with paying for it when they make more than others around them.

hope for the best...prepare for the worst. it works with money, too.

I NEVER see anyone using any of the public pay phones still scattered around except as shelter or a bathroom by the homeless lol. I wonder why local governments don't just remove them like they've done to Emergency call boxes. Having said that, I'd still be sad to see them go. It would be yet another part of history wiped out

there was a story years back about how people flocked to payphones when cell service was interrupted for some reason. in NYC

Same problem in the UK, although ours have been converted to things like Defibrillator stations, charging points and even miniature libraries where community's can swap books.
