I still have 3 books that have yet to ship from Amazon. One of them being a book about Demi Moore. I want to get these about her for some reason. Also have her book of course.

I just watched A few Good Men just a few days ago, lol, and it was great to see so much acting talent, including the very beautiful Demi.

OMM, I'm bored, but there's a lot to do. I better quit being lazy.

My phone made it this afternoon through the wind/snow! It's the first time I'm purchased a brand new iPhone. My previous one was a used iPhone 7 but the new SE seems like a good deal.

I just got the SE on Thursday, after one hell of a FedEx screw up. FedEx and me aren't friends.

SE 2020 is replacing my 6S and I am very happy with the phone. The price and the timing was right and transferring between phones is even easier than before! I picked up 256K model - I could have gone with less, but I've learned that lesson - I need All the memory!! I look forward to the day, my phone is 1T!

This is either the 2nd or 3rd new iphone I've had and I know all the reason to go Android, but I'm in the Apple cult (iCult?)

You could just backup your data to the cloud.

I've had Android phones and I like the customization, but at some point I really got too busy to keep up with which kernel goes where and it really didn't make much of a difference. I like Apple's long term support and its widespread adoption for accessories and apps (I use Windows computers for the same reason). iPhones cost more, but they hold up their value better. With the Apple card financing and my trade-in (got a decent value to make a private sale not worth the slight difference after shipping/fees), I'm only paying around $15/month interest-free with AppleCare warranty.

Ugh I've been taking these fiber gummies and I want to eat the entire thing but they are actually medicine so I got regular gummies to eat so I don't overdose.

I'm checking out for a while, but I will likely be back one day. I have decided that I spend far too much energy on social media and it's related anxieties, and I'm going to take a bit of a break. And that does include this site. I've done this before, kinda taking a social media vacation. See ya around.

Kind of cool to see a little Alpine church in Southern Germany in a calendar after seeing it in person on vacation.

The earlier I awake, the sooner work is finished for the day, which gives me hours to fiddle with boredom. I wait as the world catches up, wondering if I stop sleeping all together can I stop time. Can I will you people out of existence? No, I'm being silly thus remain stuck with you fools. Fools I say!

I wish Japanese and French blu releases were a lot more English friendly. There are quite a few from each country that I'd love to own, but no english subs.

I thought I recognized that place, been there as well
I was at Berchtesgaden in 1986, I think it's the most beautiful place on earth ( that I've been to )

These are 3 of the pic's I have readily at hand, all the others are in a box in a closet somewhere...
I do have (in the box) even better one's of the lake reflecting on the water so much you can tell if you are holding the photo right side up or not...

Yes that last one is Hitler’s Eagle’s Nest

Have you seen that exact church BWBODDY? That would be incredible if we've both seen the same small church in Southern Germany. It's not like it's Neuschwanstein or something. This is just a small little church so for us both to have seen it, that's really cool.

I winged it most days on that trip. The time when I visited Berchtesgaden was not when I was staying in Germany but actually staying in Salzburg. I remember that particular day, I seemed to cross back and forth over the border a few times so I could look at some pics and not be able to recall whether I was in Germany or Austria when I took them hehe I did want to check out the Eagle's Nest but didn't get to it. I did a little research on it but I'll be completely honest, I'm not that familiar with it. I know the retreat that Hitler had has been razed. What exactly was the Eagle's Nest?

And here are two other churches that I have seen. The first church was used on the cover of some German travel book. I didn't buy it (although I do own the DK Eyewitness Germany book) but I saw it at Barnes & Noble. All three of these pics were taken on the same day as the pic of the first church, which was actually the third church that I visited. And I think it was the church in the previous post where they had a ceremony going. It might have been a wedding or something. Checked, I wasn't on the guest list

It would be great to see more of your pics if you upload them

I went back and forth over the Border as well, I've not lots of pics ( in the box in the closets somewhere ) of Innsbruck, Salzburg, etc,
I even went up to the Olympic Sky Jump from the winter Games of (76-77?) ...

Oh I did go to the Small church ( I do have pics ) at the end of the Lake ??
I did takes pics of it, inside and out, even while still on the lake (iirc ).

Back in 1985 you had to haul around a Camera with Film, so I was limited on what I took pictures of, plus it was a lot of pictures
of the other Soldiers from my Unit I was at the Military Retreat with ( The U.S. Military has a Hotel their )

I will try to make it a piont to go through and see what I have, and what looks good enough to post.
I'll do it with-in the next couple of days

My 1986 Berchtesgaden Trip

I couldn't find as much as I had hoped, the rest may be lost in the Garage Attic

Here's pictures of the trip along the lake, I always had to check to make sure I was holding them upright or not

[Show spoiler]

Here is the little Church at the end of the lake..

[Show spoiler]

And a picture of the interior of that Church along with one of 1985 me and our Lieutenant
She was the Officer in charge of our Trip and I was the Senor NCO, so we kind of just spend the whole time together

We had just finished watching TOP GUN, before taking the Cable Car up the Obersalzberg ..
Yuuup! .. This is where I actually saw Top Gun, and at the same time it had been released in the States

[Show spoiler]

And 1 last pic of the lovely Lt.

[Show spoiler]

And just as a comparison to the 1985 me here is what I look like these days.

#1 is right away my last haircut, and how I normally look..

[Show spoiler]

#2 is just a few days ago
I had been set to get it cut, but it turned out to be on the same day our Governor shut them down
This is the longest I've ever gone without a haircut

My Stylist did call and said our Shops are opening back now, and I have an appointment for May 26th...

[Show spoiler]

Hmmmm.....so my DVD copy of Pathfinder, which has severe disc rot, won’t play the entire movie. It was my first time watching it and I was really enjoying the movie. It will only play about an hours worth. I stopped by Walmart in hopes of buying a copy, but didn’t find one. Will look @ Amazon.

Too bad for me.......

Hello everyone. I just wanted to say hello and also that I have to avoid a bunch of websites for the next few months as well as my news feed. Thankfully, I can turn it off. The headline for something was a movie spoiler that doesn't come out for at least a few more months. All I saw before I closed the news feed was "Taskmaster Identity Confirmed." I hate spoilers with a passion. I know now that it is out, IGN, CBR, Newsarama, ComicBook and a few others will have either headlines spoiling it or pictures accompanying the headline which will spoil it. I watch movies to enjoy them and I like to be surprised. I hate that all those websites spoil everything. Why can nothing be left to enjoyment of surprise anymore? Even when part are being casted for movies, they are spoiled and a lot of times the movies play them as being a surprise in the movies. I apologize for the long rant.

Just amused that my middle sister's ex-husband apparently had like a 2.zilch GPA in college. Probably a large part of the reason it took him like 2 years after he graduated to get a job in the field he went to school for. My GPA isn't amahzing either but it's currently 3.013 and I will have a 3.75 this term so it's about to go up closer to 3.20. Always suspected the guy was a moron (his daughter is also stupid) and those horrifying grades are proof. Not to mention his daughter's perpetual need to go to summer school.

I pre-ordered some Funko Pops through Hot Topic and they were delayed anywhere from 1 month to 6 months. Now GameStop has them in-stock and I can't cancel the Hot Topic order. I really hate sites who don't let you cancel orders after placing them, especially pre-orders. I paid a couple of dollars more through HT because I figured I'd get them early, but instead they pushed the release date back without notifying me.

I have my $5 credit from GameStop. I need to decide on what I should use it on before the end of the month.
