Why are people so eager to have self driving cars? It’s not that I don’t trust because I would. It’s like everybody is getting ready to buy self driving electric cars while im still thinking of a future of purchasing a RWD car with a hefty V8 in it. Is the joy of actually driving that far gone now (excluding the mundane city traffic)?

i'm kind of there, with you. i think the concept of self-driving cars is a cool idea...but i'm not ready to give up the freedom of driving. and electric cars are another thing, altogether. i'm not a fan of those. give me a nice, big, gas/diesel-powered v8 with a good sound (like the one in my truck) and i'm all about it.

I'm sticking with older, pre-Computer cars. At least mine will always work, if there's ever an EMP attack from Aliens!

I will admit my car's tendency to "help" me if it thinks I'm not driving well is moderately horrifying.

I don't trust the automatic braking.
If an update to the system comes along and someone forgot to include or excluded a "zero" those drivers are screwed. Either the brakes won't work when supposed to, or they will when not.

And the Stop and Start engines are wasting so much more gas than just idling at a light.
New cars are such sh*t.

Or cops in high-speed chase movies.

The Stop/Start engines are a way for auto manufacturers to get emissions further down to meet government quotas, even though it's murder on an engine. What do they care though, as long as everything holds until that warranty expires?

I'm trying to hold onto my 2006 Nissan Sentra as long as possible. It's the most base model of base model cars, which I LOVE! 320,000+ miles and every major component on it is still original, including the fuel pump, alternator, starter, clutch, transmission, engine, etc etc..

I'd pick up the GTA games at some point but yeah probably not. I'd rather shell out the money for a used PSP than have to find a way to emulate FF Crisis Core. I'll sit on it for a week or two.

Which PSP game? Is it one that's likely to get a Switch or mobile port?

Crisis Core Final Fantasy VII. I read that there's something holding it back from being released digitally. Might be royalties from one of the songs or a characters likeliness, not sure why that one would hold it back though.

I was considering waiting in the hopes that some of the story would be added into the future Remake games but that will likely be another 7-8 years of holding out. After playing the Remake I don't think I can wait that many years to experience the full VII story up to this point.

Since the NHL has officially suspended this season, I wonder if Ticketmaster will finally reimburse me?

My grades for everything for the spring term are in, I have A's in 3 classes. Waiting to see if I got a B+ or an A- in my Sociology class. Really want to make the dean's list.

thinking more and more about taking the 2 weeks of extra personal time we got at work. i'm just....not happy, right now. i was offered a position in another department with better hours...but through extenuating circumstances, i didn't get it (no one's fault...not mad at anyone, especially the guy who got the position; he's good people). but man, these past couple weeks have been hell. customers are becoming more and more *******-ish. and i'm afraid i'm getting to the point where i might lay into one (or a couple...or a few) of them and just let it all out. and it would most certainly get ugly.

so i'm thinking those 2 weeks away from all the bullshit might help...i don't know...

of course, it'll probably still be there when i go back.

I had a dream my usual record store to buy media went out of business. Ugh I really hope that doesn’t happen and they’re able to open back up. The only thing that sucks about the place is it isn’t very big and it would be hard to keep distance from others.
