I'm thinking about purchasing a new iPad. I never had much interest in a tablet but after my iPhone 6 got stolen a couple years ago, my stepdad gave me his old iPad Air 1st gen. It's 32GB with about 1GB of free space and it's got some cracks on it that don't affect anything. I certainly don't need a new iPad but I wouldn't mind getting one. I spend a fair amount of time using it to surf. I use it as a camera quite often.
So I'm thinking about getting either a 64GB iPad Air (4th gen for $599.99) or a 128GB iPad (8th gen $429.99). Decisions, decisions... |

I am doing a little research and it sounds like the way to go. But the bigger decision for me is do I really need/want a new iPad? Do I need one? No. Do I want one? Sure. Do I want to BUY one? No. Maybe I can just have BizCat win me one

• https://www.phonearena.com/news/iPad...Air-4_id127468 * Your budget is a big consideration; for their respective prices (on sale) both are excellent slabs (iPads). |

And ... Storage ...
• https://www.esrgear.com/blog/how-man...or-ipad-air-4/ Price (deals) ... • https://www.laptopmag.com/articles/best-ipad-deals The field between those two (storage & price) is wide open for you, or not. It's your money, not mine. It depends big time of your own personal use. |

The cameras on the iPad Air are better, no doubt.
For surfing (web browsing) both are excellent. * Do you need to spend $600, or is $400 more breathable for you? The iPad 8th is maybe all you need, and the 32GB is $299 on sale. You can use the Cloud for storage, and transfer your pics to your computer or laptop. The one you have right now; just transfer what you want to keep on your computer and do a reset, voilà. Total cost: Zero (free) and you just free roughly 25GB of space. From what you mentioned you don't seem to need more than an iPad 8th gen. 32GB ($299) if you decide to buy one brand new. And Apple supports their OS (firmware updates) for roughly five years. And, new models are coming up, for 2021. |

I tried the IRS website, but it says it has no information. Got my $600 stimulus on the 1st of January, so maybe they are making me wait this time?

If I got the stimulus, I would spend some of that sweet cash on Diablo 2 Resurrected. |
