I got $0 from unemployment last year. I will say the stimulus checks and the emergency checks I got from NMSU pretty much covered the money I lost from the about 5 months I was sitting at home being laid off due to coronavirus.

I can't imagine taking a job and not showing up for the first day at least, why even bother applying then? Seems childish.

Why do users buying digital codes ask to buy it at a price way lower than you listed?

I listed a code at $6.50 and got multiple people asking if I’d sell it for $5.

And one of those people asking already has the code, as he is selling it himself for $9? This user has a giant list of newish codes for $9 each. And you’re asking others if they’d sell theirs for $5? lmao.

Is there really that much profit in doing this? Do people thrive by making a living doing this?

Was leaving McDonalds today and met this cute woman who turns out to be from Colombia and I don't think she speaks much English. I gave her my phone and she found her FB page so I sent her a friend (request which she hasn't accepted yet). We'll see what happens though. If I do talk/message with her again, I have a feeling it's going to be with the use of a translator but that's okay. I really should have learned Spanish though!

How much can you find the new digibook for? If you can get it for cheap, you should replace it. Of course if the discs are still fine, then that's the most important thing but I know I'd want to have a pristine copy.

It seems to go for little to expensive so I might get a one with the spine not bent but the disc is more important its just my OCD about books and digibook which now I might have to track down the Nightmare Before Christmas one from Target which somehow I missed.

Thanks. I did download a translator on my phone awhile back because I went out on a date with this girl from Brazil and she just speaks Portuguese. Like everything we said was through the translator. She would type, I would read. I would type, she would read. It was a bit of work but it was okay. I hadn't thought much about the communication issue because whenever we would text, I would text in English and her replies would come back in English. But she was having to translate my messages to Portuguese and then translate hers to English and send them. Must have been exhausting

Trying to decide right now if I want to translate one of Mylene Farmer's concert movies, meaning make subtitles that I can understand as a non-French speaker. I have two of these concerts and a whole bunch of music videos that I would like to understand. Song translations available online would make the bulk of the work timing the subtitles correctly.

We moved from a 2bdrm in NY to a 1bdrm here in KY, needless to say we had to leave some furniture behind and we've both become extremely overwhelmed as we unpack the many boxes full of our belongings..
