If I can ever bring up stuff to my therapist that I suppose needs addressing. its lucky I only really ever cut myself once. I hate the feeling but all these emotions at times feel like a sinking ship.

I bought these glasses and running goggles in February, 2018. Just replaced the frame on the running goggles on Monday but not the lenses. I plan to use the lenses in both the glasses and the running goggles for another 3+ years. Not sure if this is normative or not but I still see great so I imagine it's fine.

Anyone have experience flying with a pet? I'm bringing a kitten back with me on a flight next week and, frankly, I'm kinda nervous about the whole thing. What am I supposed to do if it starts meowing mid flight? Lol.

possibly see a vet before hand? I think there are pills that help with the flight or at least I know that for dogs but then my brother's dog hated it and still got stressed.

Are employers really hiring? I know I haven't been too serious in the job hunting but the ones' I have talked to doesn't seem like they want people. One led me on to believe after I give a list of references he would be open to start as soon as possible but then he was nervous after we talked about being disable. And this latest one no phone interview then why did we bother setting up one.

I imagine it's overstated and it actually seems like restaurants are no longer actively trying to entice new employees.

That's the issue right there, you need to talk to more employers. What kind of work are you looking to do?

I've been making a pretty concerted effort myself to get work in the BHS field since last January. The closest I've come is the storeroom clerk job I've been working at since January 25th. To be fair I only graduated in May but it's still a bit disconcerting lol. We'll see how my attempts to get into graduate school go.

It doesn't matter if I talk to a lot. The questions was are they really hiring with these examples those business aren't or at least treating me fair for even applying. One was a medical courier the other was a retail merchandiser (not dealing with the public). I am staying away from dealing with the public as I am tired of retail such as stocking and cashiering but mostly stocking. I also have a Bachelor's in History so I should get something but some of it because of the 20 hours I can't go over due to the government.

Yes, retailers are hiring. It could do with the fact you can only work 20 hours and they need someone to work a full 40.

I'm deeply concerned with our future here in Kentucky. My fiancee is on a 2yr work contract, but her employer has been either cutting her hours or sending her to one of their facilities an hour away. She's obviously not happy but doesn't want to try finding another employer. She keeps talking about moving back to New York, and she's barely been here for 6 months.

Either she'll adjust to the bad working conditions or she'll force you to move back to New York. Maybe you'll get lucky and be able to find a third option that works for everyone.

My former brother-in-law finally went too far and is pretty much cut off from my parents and my sister now. I am finally going to tell my niece that her father threatened to beat my ass back in 2014 for eating in my room. She deserves to know she's not the only one who's disliked her father for years.

Had a bit of a nightmare last night. Dreamt that I somehow lost my current job and I was leaving today to go to a shift at my old job. That almost woke me up lol.

Just because you weren't hired doesn't mean retailers aren't hiring. There could be a number of reasons why you didn't get an offer such as not being a good/best fit for the job requirements or you interviewed poorly. Most jobs have many applicants (some have hundreds). My advice is to continue to apply for jobs and you should be looking at as many opportunities as possible.
