Well my girlfriend's work contract is officially up on December 30th and won't be renewed. She told me she wasn't going to actively look for another one. I keep hearing about a nursing shortage in this state so it shouldn't be too difficult finding something locally but I think she actually likes being a travel nurse, she likes being back in her home state of Kentucky but apparently doesn't want to work here if that makes sense.

I've been with the company I'm working for now going on 8yrs and I'm seriously getting tired of it, I'm considering getting my CDL and getting a driving gig, plenty of opportunities right now in this country.

Has anyone ever been to an Elementary or a Junior High School reunion? Do they even have reunions for anything other than High School or College? You spend 5 or 6 years of your young life with the same kids then they're suddenly gone from your life forever. There's Facebook but you have to know your classmate's full names in order to look them up. I wish I could meet up with some of those people. Have some strong memories of friendships.

Basically everything I've ordered lately has been shipped with FedEx and I can't stand it. Absolutely hate FedEx. Half of the time they can't find my address for whatever reason or the packages are delayed. I ordered something Thursday and it said next day delivery on Friday, which of course did not happen. Then it was delayed to Saturday, then Sunday, now it hasn't updated in days and doesn't appear to be coming today.

I'm sure it'll show up tomorrow when I'm at work so that I can't sign for it. Signing for the package wouldn't be an issue if their crappy app or online service worked properly. When I try to sign for it online I get an error notice. It's one thing after another with this crappy company. Makes me wish there were an option to request that packages are never shipped via FedEx.

It was different for me. Same schools, same kids, from start to finish, every single grade.

Probably why I don't care for any reunions.

I just cleared the browser history on my brand new iPhone. Now like when I type B, instead of going to Blu-Ray.com, it tries to go to some site I haven’t intentionally gone to in 20 years, same with other letters.. creeps the shit out of me.

Have any of you guys (male members) ever gone to a manicure joint? I was a bit adamant of going to one but I finally swallowed my pride and decided to walk in last night. They did a great job and it wasn't as embarrassing as I thought it would be. Maybe because it was mostly empty

honestly I'm in need of a pedi more than a manicure, my toe nails look truly hideous.

Same reason I'm avoiding getting a pedi. I can deal with being seen getting a manicure but I'm not exposing my feet in public

My runner toenails are so bad that not only would I never subject another human to them but, objectively, nothing short of a flamethrower would be of use anyway.

Never heard of anything, however I wouldn't mind reconnecting with some I went through Elementary school with although I'm sure neither of us would recognize each other. Despite staying in the same school district from elementary to middle school, I haven't seen or heard from ANY of them since we moved up from elementary school. Thing with social media(ie Facebook) most people only go far back as high school. I kept in touch with those in HS I care to before I even joined Facebook. That said my 10yr high school reunion literally came and went 4 years ago, I don't think there was ever an official gathering, or if there was I didn't get the memo.

Is it possible to keep your phone and just get a New Number? I really like my LG so I don't want to buy a phone just to get a new number. though I am just thinking about it. I have had this number so long it seems I should keep it.

speaking of phone numbers, I find it a sign of the times, when we just automatically save all the numbers to our phone, but if someone were to ask you what so and so's phone number IS - I, for one, would just draw a blank. I went into a Walgreen's and when putting in my mom's number for the accrued points, I had a complete senior moment and I hadn't brought in my phone inside the store - oops.

I thought though when you get a new phone, your phone plan lets you keep the prior number.

I had the same thought process as you. But then someone told me they don't just clip nails, which anyone can do themselves unless you have Parkinson's, they do a bunch of other stuff too. So I said what the hell and walked into one of those places. Felt a little out of place and weird but they put you at ease. Anyway, my fingernails were in horrible condition: I had pieces torn, cracks in spots, lots of dead skin everywhere and just generally bad nails. I walked out of there looking like a million bucks lol. So, you see, they're more than just clippers
