If they are store cards, I guess you have to bite the bullet and just buy something that will eliminate the remaining card balance, and pay what's left over out of pocket.

If it's a general visa-style gift card, you can just use the remaining funds to pay ahead on online balances for things like utility bills, cable, internet, etc. etc..

If its over a dollar, buy an amazon e-gift card and send it to yourself. Especially if you have a bunch lying around and know the balances on them.

Alternatively, if its under a dollar and it's a physical card, you can use them at the grocery store and ask them to charge the specific amount first. I don't advise using more than one at a time though because its annoying to the cashier; they understand if its a gift card but too many of those prepaid visas take a while, especially if there's a line.

I held up a line at Walmart one time using those prepaid visas, never again, straight to amazon they go for me.

UPDATE: I did get one card that was a royal pain in the ass to transfer over to my Amazon account - from TD Bank. They require you to Register the card online before it can be used. I didn't know this so I kept getting "Payment Revision Needed" error messages every time I tried adding it (about 6 times lol). The card was only worth $25 so at one point I got so frustrated that I threw it in the garbage! After fishing it out and calling the 1-800 number I was finally able to add the card but I still think it was a monumental timewaster. Why do they need a bunch of personal info to use these disposable cards? None of the other cards required this

Where I work, they issued a mask mandate for everyone who is in the office or buildings and started yesterday in the middle of the day and wanted everyone to start wearing masks immediately. Luckily, I work from home, so I can do what I want. BUT, my nephew just tested positive for Covid and I saw him on Sunday when picking up my other nephew from his house. He still feels fine, and has had his booster and I have too. Hopefully, he doesn't get sick. If he doesn't I should be fine.

Only for crosswalks. Anything else is considered jaywalking, which is a crime.

I only cross at crosswalks. But the Right Turn On Red provision makes drivers think it's OK to blow past people legally crossing the street

I know its hard since this week has been hell with my mental illnesses but everyone would miss you so don't think like that and it will get better I am not sure of it but Every day is different and full of surprises so you'll probably get a job eventually but these things take time.
