Wondering if post count milestones are a thing around here, whether anyone cares.

There's a thread for it.
Not many really seem to care.
Especially for those of us that have been here or on other websites for decades... :'(

While running around getting ready for work I overheard two operators bashing the department that I work for. It was very difficult to not tell them to eff themselves. I usually would do that and still may.
I wonder why I didn’t? With things like that, I don’t hesitate but I did. Am I getting soft in my middle age?
Hmmm….

Looks like my little girl's getting really interested in horseback riding now thanks to her step dad. Just a peek at a tack shop catalog online(not even considering stable fees and all that), all I can think of is I might need a 3rd job to pay for that venture... I want her to be happy but I'm not looking forward to burnout from overworking myself, I'm clearly not in my twenties or even 30 anymore.

How many hours a week are you working now with two jobs?

How do you work 2 jobs? I barely work one job and could not do another. I can barely do anything these days. I spent all day asleep. Depression sucks. A worse drug than Coke.

Went into the Vent My Anger thread to, ya know, vent my anger, and a whole bunch of people ganged up on me because they bizarrely assumed I was specifically targeting ONE individual (I'd said "SOME people", plural!) I hadn't even been aware existed! Now I'm ****ing pissed off at all of them for drawing wild inferences and putting words in my mouth I never ****ing said!

Let it go. Now, people are just pushing your buttons...and it's working. Just ignore it and they'll move on to somebody else.

I've always preferred name brand stuff over generics, particularly personal hygiene products. My family, OTOH, is perfectly happy with the cheap dollar store crap. You pay a little more for stuff but, in the end, it's totally worth it IMO. I had to settle for generic TP the other day because my store was out of ScotTissue. Scott is the only tissue I use and for good reason. All that other cheap paper is too thin and crumbles easily.

I don't get people's fascination with Scott's. I'd sooner use sandpaper on my rear. It's not that much a difference. I like the soft stuff. I want to pamper my behind, not kill it.

Soft is nice but you don't want paper that's too soft. I've found that the softer the paper (like Charmin), the more frequently bits will break off and stay in your rear. Then you have to deal with skin irritation (at least in my experience). I think Scott is the perfect amount of soft and resistant. Besides, soft tissue is thicker so the roll will empty out faster

As long as we're on this topic, it's a shame that bidets aren't a thing in the US. They're practically found in every bathroom in Europe.

I find Scott's isn't soft at all. And the softer tissues don't crumble at all for me. Though I do agree with you about the roll emptying out quicker. And I agree with you about the bidet thing too. On principle though, as I have never used one. I am a little bit scared too.

I've never looked into them but, there are DIY bidet kits so that you can turn your regular toilet into a bidet.

Wondering why fighthefutureofhd got banned and if it's permanent. Guess it might be if their avatar's been removed.

Dammit, I just burned my Hawaiian pizza.
Maybe I should have cooked it on aloha temperature.

i'm trying to figure out what's the heck with Verizon software updates for april hasn't been pushed out over wifi at all s20 plus phones despite that they written it down

System Update 27

The details:

Release date: 04/07/2022
Android™ Security Patch Level: April 2022
Software Version: SP1A.210812.016.G986USQU2FVCC

What's changing:

The current software update enables Brand Chat on Advanced Messaging, which allows you to text your favorite companies' chatbots from your messaging app. Conversations are saved in your messages so you can read them any time.

I been in chat with Verizon past weds they told me sat thurs night told me not sat but sun Friday night they told me won't get it until 22nd or before 22nd

somebody did told me s20fe phones gotten theirs weds night and s20 plus phones are next, now I actually did went into Samsung chat last night no s20 plus phones have even gotten it at all

I don't really understand why taking this long to be pushed out on phones I mean when I got the march software update ui 4.1 I got notify after 3 days from phone after they put that up back on 22nd of last month very confusing
