I think one of my coworkers has gotten himself into some big trouble.
A couple of weeks ago he did a bonehead thing and it cost The Mine money and us production.
Yesterday he did the same thing with the same result. But today in our morning meeting, he tried to deflect the blame onto our awesome mechanics, which doesn’t fly at all.
After the meeting my supervisor was giving me a ride to my machine and I asked him if he was going to do anything. My supervisor was late getting to work because of Covid protocol and was unaware that this was the second time my coworker did this eff up. He was VERY displeased when I told him. He was outright angry he realized that my coworker was trying to pin this on someone who is beyond excellent at his job. That mechanic has no peer.
I’m pretty sure that there is an investigation going on because the same drill suffered the same damage by the same fella in two weeks. But also that the mechanic is livid that this driller is attempting to throw him under the bus.
We all witnessed what my coworker said today and most of us know that he did this previously a short time ago.
For the damage that he did; he’d definitely get written up.
But to try to blame someone else, I don’t doubt that he’ll be fired.

Ha, my dad will be 72 this year and he's been retired for awhile now and he does the same thing. Hallmark and Lifetime channel movies. He really likes the romcoms and he'll tell me all about them, like the whole plot of the movie lol I love romcoms but I don't know if I could get into the ones he's watching.

My 5yr old cat came up with a cancerous mass on her right rear paw, it’s big and red and keeps getting more both.. the vet of course wants to cut her entire leg off for $2300-$3300.. a few years ago I spent $2600 in the same situation with my dogs front leg. Amputated and she died six months later anyway.

I love her but ****! I’m strongly considering natural treatments and hoping for the best. She’s actually mostly moms cat, who is also battling cancer. Life can seriously eat a bag of dicks.
