I'm beginning to question if selling on Ebay is actually worth my time. While I've made some decent coin on stuff this year, other times it just seems like a bad joke. I got a "payout" of exactly 3 cents from a $7.50 sale. At least I'm assuming it's from that sale. Or maybe it's a holdover from a previous sale that just cleared. Lol.

BTW, I've gotten prospective buyers who ask what the Reserve amount is. I've given them the amount but it feels like they're cheating by trying to gain an advantage. Am I not supposed to give that info out?

Telling people your reserve amount is fine. It just weeds out the people who actually want the item and those who don’t want it. I always set my auctions (my once in a blue moon auctions) at the minimum I am willing to accept for my items. Never understood the point in hiding that.

I am sure that $0.03 you recevied was not from the $7.50 sale otherwise no one would use the service.

Agreed on my father, I've seen relatives fade away and emotionally it is quite taxing.

Power was out from about 4:30-9:00, glad it finally came back on. Now I can cut my hair and get ready for bed.
The person I was taking care of was my mother. I started when she was diagnosed with metastatic breast cancer and heart failure back in late March. She went into hospice a little over a week ago. Tonight I heard her last heart beats and waited for something to check it since I lack the ability to read a pulse (no idea why) and than she was gone right before my eyes. Nothing seems real anymore and I just want to wake up from this nightmare or never wake again.

I'm cooking/heating up some fish sticks and just fartin around on the computer before I start tonight's (still undecided) movie. Looking at Marine Corp Air Station Iwakuni in Japan just to see if I recognize anything and wishing I could go back to my time spent there. I never had a car and didn't get off base too much so I do wish I had gone out more than I did. I went out a fair amount but not nearly enough.

Okay, picked out tonight's film; Into The Wild.

My deepest condolences

I wish I could've been by my Mother's side when she succumbed to breast cancer in 2018. She died alone overnight while in the ICU. I was under the impression visitors weren't allowed in the ICU overnight but I later found out it's permissible upon request. I'll regret that to the end.

Losing a loved one is so hard.

Any theories as to why milk would go bad 10 days before the expiration date?

Could be a bad seal on the container or if the fridge is not cold enough.

Does the milk itself taste and look fine?

What often happens is that people will pop open a container of milk and get a spoiled smell. That smell is coming from milk that has dried around the cap area, leaving many to wonder why their milk has gone bad before the expiration date.

If that's the case, and the milk itself is still good, just clean the cap area off.

That sucks. Perhaps it was spoiled at the store before you even brought it home or a bad seal. We have a cooler at my supermarket from the local German restaurant/deli. They've got all sorts of sausages inside and meats. I went to grab some brats the other day and the cooler was dark and everything was warm. I was like NOPE. So I'm sure they plugged it back in and will sell all that crap vs taking the loss.

My allergies are wreaking havoc on my eyes today. This year has been the worst when it comes to allergies for me. I can't wait until winter.

My Boss mentioned yesterday that overtime is available if I want it. I told him that if it weren’t for the upcoming concert trip that I’d be all over it. He said that the department that we work closely with is pretty short and that I could drill or drive truck, my choice.
Just now I heard a bit more on that, that there’s been quite a few that have quit. Some quality Operators too, which hurts their team considerably.
I have some big expenses coming up and doing OT would help greatly.
Hmmm…

Just out of curiosity what company do you work for and what are the qualifications to being an Operator? You know other than moving to Canada, which I'll totally be open to.

You eat breakfast at 1730 (5:30pm)? It's fine, I won't judge you too harshly

I'm trying to think of something cheeky to say but I'm drawing a blank. I'll be back tomorrow morning with a witty comment, after I've had dinner
