just realize I do something I can find any info online about. I think it started when Elizabeth was in my life 2006. But anyway it is apart of my mental illness and I need to to talk to my counselor about it tomorrow.

Does anyone edit thoughts or plan what you want to say before you post, or say it out loud in a conversation like the way one edits a book or a movie? like it has to be perfect before it comes out to make sense or to be understood? So you pause a lot to try to find the most comprehensive word to use. If that is what being Autistic is like no really tells you but I have never heard put this way or anything else.

I didn't have a tree last year which really sucked as I enjoy setting up my Lionel trains. Had a really bad case of COVID and it knocked me down for weeks.

My late wife was never a fan of Christmas/Thanksgiving (childhood trauma + years working retail ruined the whole holiday season for her) but that never stopped her from putting up our Christmas tree on November 1st for as long as we've lived together. November is Thanksgiving Month. Christmas/Yuletide Month starts December 1st.
My decorations don't go up until December 1st.
Some of the lights don't come down until the end of winter as they are white and blue icicle lights and make for nice winter decorations.

I used to have a rule where if any store puts out christmas sh.. before Thanksgiving week is upon us, I wouldn't shop there. It worked for a little while, but now everyone puts stuff out starting (slowly) in June/July.
I'd starve or be bored nowadays.

I'm content with Christmas decorations going up the day after Thanksgiving. Dec 1st is probably the unofficial best day to do it though and when things swing into gear.

Yesterday was actually the return of the Starbucks Red Cups.

I washed my sheets and blankets today and then the dryer stopped working so I had to make a trip to the laundromat. The most interesting people hang out there.

I can't wait for Christmas. I just took down my Halloween decorations and I'm getting ready to put the Christmas ones up listening to Christmas music the entire time. The mall was already packed with people Christmas shopping yesterday.

One of my favorite NY radio stations has already started playing 24x7 Christmas, I almost forgot they did this every year from Nov 1 til New Years until I turned my iHeart Radio app on haha. Not going to lie I actually left it on for a couple songs, but I really don't need any reminders of how shitty this holiday season is going to be with My Love gone.

This is the start of the time of year for my bipolar to really kick in so my emotions have been yo-yoing all over the place these last few days so I decided to put up the X-Mas tree. Got it up and all puffed out, going to start putting the decorations on it later.
