Walmart already has House of the Dragon out on its shelves. I get 25% off. The Steelbook is nice but has stacked discs. The standard is not stacked and has a pretty cool embossed dragon slipcover. Not sure which one to get, but then again...I could wait for the entire series box set to be released in six years lol.

Jurassic World whatever the new movie is called succeeded, Sony will release some Adam Driver dinosaur movie, and still Capcom won't cash in on the dinosaur fandom with their own survival horror that is left dormant. But we need the twentieth zombie game in their other franchise. Honestly don't even think zombies are that popular anymore. Resident Evil is selling largely on inertia. Dinosaurs are harder to animate and code for, I think. In a Resident Evil game, most of the enemies are humanoids. In a dinosaur game, you have to animate a whole bunch of different species. I think that's one of the reasons there are few good dino games. But it's not an excuse.

There’s a big crew change tonight and tomorrow morning while some airports are having a lot of grief. Calgary and Edmonton are hit hard with canceled flights and Vancouver airport has shut down.
There’s some people here swearing loudly while looking at their phones.
I feel bad for them.

Feeling pretty good after this nice compliment that I got early this morning. It's about 1:30am and I'm walking to the bus stop to head to work. I got out of bed like 20 minutes earlier so I still had my morning face. I'm walking and three guys and two really attractive brunettes are walking toward me. As they pass, one of the girls says "you're very handsome". I didn't say anything and after they passed me, she turns back and says "hey you walking away, you're very handsome". I didn't even say thank you out loud but mouthed it so hopefully she knew what I said and didn't think I was being a snob.

I'm just about mid 40s and she looked to be in her mid 20s so that was really nice to get the compliment especially so early in the morning. I don't think I would have said anything really even if she was just by herself or with her female friend. Even when I was younger, I was never that good at talking to girls. I had my moments where I could be quite smooth and I met a lot of girls but I was never real good with the ladies. I just looked real good

Also, I kind of wish that I had gotten the Harry Potter 8-film collection (Blu Ray) when it was $27.99 the other day. I have all of the films individually but they're at my dad's house and I'm not sure when I'll get back there.

Please be careful with phishing and scam emails, and even regular mail to. Just got a a "Request for Payment" email from Paypal that was not flagged and saying to pay $600 for some Galaxy Phone purchased with my account. Obviously i didn't click shit, and I checked my account and it seems fine.

I just spoke to an elderly family friend and someone tried to scam a check she mailed out. Apparently they got a hold of one of her checks, washed out the amount and put in over $9,000. The bank flagged it, but she had to go there and sort it all out, and she's disabled so it wasn't easy.

Anyway, I'm sure people on here are very diligent about this stuff, but do pass it on to those not as internet-savvy, etc..

Same thing happened to me as well. Because Christmas fell on a Sunday, Monday was the "observed" day. Those lucky postal workers got 2 days off in a row.

My bank and most financial institutions were also closed on Monday.
