Just wondering and trying to figure out why Penn State students would riot in support of someone who helped cover up the RAPE OF A 10 YEAR OLD CHILD.

I am curious if I am getting fired today. I was fairly confident before but I talked to the big boss today and am unsure now.
I don't know how it got to this point but it seemed inevitable. My supervisor is a joke and has now turned the the tables against me. He has been badmouthing me to the superintendant and he seems to have fallen for it. I know that later he'll understand he picked the wrong one, but that won't help me right now.
My Daughter left yesterday and now this. That's a bit much for me.

I completely agree with you. My mind is boggled over this. I have hearing about this everywhere.

I am sick of people saying that he was the best thing to ever come to Penn State. Obviously for Sandusky for pretty much turning away. Sure he told some people, but where were the cops, social services, campus police, etc.

Also, the ever pleasant "HE was not the one who hurt anyone..." Really? By letting these kids continue with this man unsupervised and/or not telling the CORRECT authorities, he's innocent, right?

I am wondering what many of these "supporters" would say if one of these boys were from their family...

Come on... This why there are "accessory" charges.

Having grown up in an environment where a pedophile was present in my life (no he never targeted me), these topics are just too close to home. The victim, his foster son, finally came forward, got him convicted, and wrote a book about it. It is all just very sad.

I feel that many of my family should be punished as well. I am sure there were people who either knew, or had some serious thoughts that something was going on. As a matter of fact, since he got out of jail (and "cured"), everyone still has him in their lives... including around their small children.

On a lighter note.......I'm trying to come up with a menu plan for tomorrow night and Saturday (yes I need 2 menus), but I'm stumped. I've got 1,001 things running through my mind, but I can't decide.

I was thinking a Penne a la Vodka actually...easy-peasy to make. And there is a Dutch dish called "hutspot", which is a poor man's winter dish. Fried onions, carrots and potatoes roughly mashed together and served with a nice gravy and either sausage or chops on the side.
