Had a discussion with my MD today; they've found something unusual next to my spine, along a couple vertebrae. It explained my recent crippling spinal pain; it's a near-total lack of muscle tissue in an area about 2 inches long. This causes the vert to be able to slip back and forth too easily, causing pain. We start all the fancy exams and scans in a few weeks. Yay.

Yeah, good luck. I was having back problems awhile ago and I would have to go in for injections but they would only last a few weeks. I then had them stick a huge needle in the nerves close to spine and inject some medicine in there and it worked wonders. That sounds like nothing compared to what you describe. Hopefully the docs can help because once the pain goes away your life totally changes for the better.

The Oilers season is coming right down to the wire and us fans are loving it!
Last nights game was pretty fn awesome!

My Ex bought a Charger Daytona Edition a couple of months ago and I love driving it! It's nicely optioned, sounds wicked and has great performance!
I have to be very conscious of what speed I'm driving or she'll get tickets in the mail. That car is a real pleasure to drive and I am extremely happy for her that she got such a great one!

Just made an appointment for an eye exam on Saturday. I tried watching a movie last night and I couldn't see squat on the TV screen.

Preparing for a weekend trip to Las Vegas. I count cards, and play only one game, when I play: Blackjack. 1, 2, or 6 decks, I don’t care. And I’m always prepared to lose, but I will enjoy winning. I’m sure it’ll be fun, but honestly? I’d rather stay home with the grandkids. I gave my oldest grandson (he’s just shy of 4) a huuuuge Batwing for his Batman toys. I bought it for $20, but his response to it when he saw it was truly priceless. This is the stuff that makes me shrug at Vegas.

Does anyone else check dates on food before purchase? I like to get the freshest items if I can. It’s nice to get that extra few days or week in the fridge before it starts to go bad.

No. No choice @ the food bank. Most everything is expired.

Well, Vegas was alright. I had an okay time; went to see Usher on Saturday night, that was exciting. But, honestly? I liked it better back in the old days, before it was so family-oriented. Yeah, I’m old. LOL
