Need to upgrade to a larger iphone.. ugh I hate upgrading. Should I switch to Verizon in the hope of a free one? I need to be rich enough to pay someone to think of that crap.

Why are people so against the use of facial recognition technology in places like stores and airports? Are they afraid of being spotted shopping at Walmart and "outed" on the 5 o'clock news? That's not how it works lol. The tech can be useful, retailers just need to find the right away of applying the tech to their security strategies. I'm totally for it. People who have nothing to hide shouldn't have anything to worry about.

I am going to try a new approach this year when it comes to waxing my car: Just do one section each day. I'll do the hood on one day. Front fenders on the next day. Do one door each day...etc.etc.etc..until the entire car is waxed.

I am banking that each day will take about an hour...and I am being generous with that estimate. Actual total work will probably be about 30 minutes, but time going back and forth to the car, along with waiting for the wax to "dry", will ultimately bring it all up to an hour.

Ukraine What's your favorite top-ten list?

Martin Scorsese is a funny animal

Of course the favorite top-10 best list is different for each cinephile.
And, today's list is not necessarily tomorrow's list. It's a moving target with time.
One hundred years ago the favorite best top-10 list wasn't the same as ...

Scorsese sometimes is a funny guy.
I get what he's saying on super hero flicks, but I think the guy is from a different era with different values and he's having a hard time adapting.
I don't blame him; super hero flicks are even funnier than him.

And that, was what on my mind in the now moment.
Five minutes from now it will be totally something else.

An aerial shot of my house was on national TV today (ESPN2). I have survived a stroke, cancer, and my first wife... but this is the proudest moment of my life.

Anybody ever try something called Potted Meat Food Product? It's essentially pig and chicken parts mashed into a paste and you spread it on bread or crackers for a quick snack. My family fed that to us when we were young (we didn't have a lot of money) but I've forgotten about it over the years. I started buying the stuff again and it's actually tasty.

You need to call Biff over at Biff’s Automotive Detailing.

I used to wax my car but got lazy. I like your new approach by doing a different section or panel each day. Being in the Northeast…rust is inevitable along with all the crap they put on the roads for the ice and snow. At least a good coat of wax will repel some of the crap that can lead to corrosion.

Caught a mouse on a glue trap overnight. Got him outside and he escaped lol. I guess better outside vs in but I’m sure he’ll be back.

Biff's Automotive Detail, or B.A.D.? Yeah, no thanks!

If I had my own garage, a buffer, a foam cannon, etc. etc...I might be inclined to do it all over a couple of days.

But, my car is parked outside and all I have are the basics (clay bar, buckets, soap, wax, water hose, etc) and my own two hands. I used to do it all in one day and damn, it wore me out. I would also find, weeks after the job, spots of wax missed on the buff-out.

It just makes sense to take it a section at a time, over multiple days. Easier on the body, less stress on the clock, and a better job done in the end.

Came across this video of a new Acura TLX Type S getting stolen. It's remarkable how good these car thieves are but also how dangerous new cars have become with all the tech. So much easier to steal and they did it without breaking anything!

What an opening drive TD by the Cowboys.

Can't wait to get the 4k for Demolition Man, one of my all-time favourite action films.
