Just got home from the hospital, where I have been since the day after Christmas. Turns out that the tachycardia I was dealing with may have indirectly saved my life. Treating it, they found that I have a blood clot in each of my lungs. So, blood thinners are now the order of the day.

Switched from safety razors to an electric razor a week ago, one made for close shaves. It changed my life in a small way. Easy enough that I've shaved every day so far. Was planning not to on the weekends, since I barely see anyone, but since the hair is collected inside I can do it while doing something else. Wish I had gotten one twenty years ago. Would have looked less lazy.

Bob found the door plug. And another guy found the iPhone (14 Pro or 15/Pro), totally intact and fully working after falling 16,000 feet from the sky! Those iPhones sure can take a lot of "pressure", pun intended. And good thing it didn't fall on top of someone's head; same for the door plug. Amazing, not a scratch on the screen!

Was gutted to read last week about David Soul passing away. In recent times, I'd seen him on one or two repeats of a UK music programme (a couple of his music single chart hits from his brief music career). Need to revisit Starsky & Hutch (I sampled a few episodes from a repeat run on one of Sony's TV channels a few years ago, but didn't like many of them. Willing to try the series out again). Can remember seeing him on a couple of episodes of Murder, She Wrote as well (from the late-eighties or early-nineties).

Hmm, what movie to watch tonight lads? Not even sure what genre I feel like watching yet. Eh, I did watch Batman Begins a couple nights ago and then I watched The Dark Knight last night so maybe I should finish up with Rises tonight.

And there's this cute girl that works at the restaurant that I used to work at. Pretty sure she's from Mexico and she's married but I wish she were single. She was wearing these ankle socks the other day with jeans that ended right an inch above the socks and I don't have a foot or an ankle fetish or anything, but she did look good.

I am going to physical therapy for vision. dizziness and balance issues due to an inner ear imbalance. I made it to the last exorcise today before blowing chunks all over the floor in front of me. I don't have vertigo which is good cuz that always sucks but this is even worse. I tried playing the Robocop PS5 game and the movements made me feel like I was the Earth was spinning and I was about to shoot off into space...and then the vomiting started.

What should I use to clean up monitors and TVs that will not cause damage to the screens? I have a Hisense and an older Sony Bravia TV. Any tips appreciated.

Someone passed on some wise advice/knowledge to me a year or two ago that another person told them (I used to enjoy going to that cafe most of the time, but it's since closed down), some people live their life like they're on a race track, which is what's happening these days (ie. they don't have time to stop and pause, always on the go). I prefer to take my time with things at a more leisurely pace.

Have noticed that so far this month, that even though the amount of time is the same, it's felt dragged and stretched out (but in a good way).

I keep thinking about how I went crazy for awhile with buying new clothes and I should have just stuck with one light jacket and one hoodie that I really like and wear all the time. And now I'm thinking about buying another hoodie from this brand called Paka. I saw an ad on Facebook and yup, they got me.

At any rate, they say the average person ends up only wearing around 20% of the clothes they buy.

Friday had a dry cough that hurt in my chest. Joints all hurt.

Now the cough doesn't hurt so much but I have a wheezing breath I can feel in my lungs.

I hope this goes away on its own.

I definitely try and get to wearing all of the clothes that I've bought and I've done a pretty good job. It would help if I had a job where I could wear the clothes that I've bought. I actually do have that job with my job at the postal service but I wouldn't want to wear any of the stuff that I've bought. I go for cheap shorts and a cheap t-shirts.

I think part of the reason that I went so crazy with all the new clothes is that I was kind of making up for all of the time when I wasn't buying new clothes. And then I do like to gather and collect as discussed in your podcast.
