I know right? I’ve got a $5 BBY certificate I can’t find anything to use on. I buy too many movies and those I don’t have are over priced with them.

I’m watching YouTube. If you watch YouTube, perhaps you could watch Allen Edmonds videos to understand why I like those shoes so much.

Allen Edmonds has rugged boots, too. I know you’re into rugged boots. AE might have rugged boots that you’re interested in.

lol I think I'll go with a couple overland channels that I recently found. I don't wheel. I don't even have a truck. But I have enjoyed watching these videos from a retired Navy vet who lives in SoCal and goes out on some cool trips.

I did watch a little FB reel story of some really nice Paolo Scafora dress shoes just a short time ago. They were pretty sharp

Paolo Scafora, those are well made bespoke shoes, thank you. But they’re too sleek for my monster feet.

If I were to buy bespoke shoes, I’d buy John Lobb or Nicholas Templeman. Those are better for my feet.

All bespoke shoes are out of my price range.

For what it’s worth, bespoke is what overseas people call custom or made from scratch.

USA This past Sunday night's Super Bowl

Didn't watch very much of it, but saw bits of this past Sunday night's Super Bowl (for a few years, the BBC were showing the live game. But in recent years it's been shown on ITV and Sky). A friend was keeping me up to speed with the score (mainly watched it towards and at the end). Didn't watch the half-time show.

I've not watched a full game, but out of the North American sports, the one which is my favourite is baseball (reminds me of rounders over here).

I do know what bespoke means Everything in my closet is bespoke actually, even my underwear.
Kidding of course

Do you have any pictures of your shoes?

I forgot to get potato chips while I was out today. Potato chips and Lay's French onion dip is one of my favorite snacks when watching movies at home.

It's a mixture of directly and indirectly, the feeling of being put off from posting more. My hours are limited on here anyway. I don't see it as some competition with how many posts I make compared to others (some of whom make what looks like scores of posts per day). I remember someone saying on here last year that one member was making sixty posts per day. In addition, I see spamming of threads and sub-forums happening more frequently (members deliberately upping their post count and forum ranking, and the encouragement of this).

Lately, I've been finding more and more that you have to ever so carefully word what you say if it's an opinion, in case someone decides that you deserve getting a condescending, talking down to/lecturing reply.

Almost done with this RBT 40 hour course. Ready to go tomorrow to apply for that M-F 7-3 DSP job after I go talk to MECA Therapies about the competency assessment and possibly the exam.

I am historically terrible at exams so I'm hoping my exam study guide gets here before I would have a potential competency assessment and exam. $45 a try doesn't seem like a lot now but it could add up quickly and I'd rather not feel incompetent by taking it more than once.

I did like how the course said multiple times that a multiple choice exam in no way indicates whether or not a person is qualified to perform the duties of their job.

Man, what internet corner were you on? I've been internetting since 1992, and the only thing that's changed are the picture and the advertisements.

And with that, you're proving his point exactly. He couldn't speak his mind without you picking apart something or another he said. Why do you feel the need to do that, rather than hearing him out, and understand why he's writing it. We have so much negativity in the world, why add to it, rather than being a little more empathetic and supportive?

I need recommendations for a good pair of midlevel over-the-ear hook type wired earbuds. All I see on Amazon are cheapo ones from no-name companies made mostly for joggers. Gotta start drowning out the inconsiderate jerks on my commutes who watch stuff on their phones at max volume on speakerphone.
