Just wrote the Cowtown Marathon a nice 1/5 review since they refused to give me a refund when I was unable to make it to Ft. Worth to run the race today. Just found another site and dropped another 1/5 review on them, let's see if we can make any other 1/5 reviews before we go for a recovery run this afternoon.

I should be off Wednesday so I'm wondering what I'll do tomorrow after work. The plan was to go for a bike ride and then later hit Applebee's as they have their 6oz sirloin for only $9.99 on Tuesday evenings. I helped my old boss move some stuff today so he was going to buy me a steak dinner so tomorrow sounds good. I also remembered that tomorrow is discount day at the theater I go to so I wonder if instead of a bike ride, I may just go see a movie.

Well I work 12-3 and 5-9 tomorrow, plus I have a virtual meeting with a nutritionist at 3:45 so we'll see if I get to do anything else besides run 3 miles before breakfast and pump some iron.

How long will it be before people have phones surgically attached to their bodies permanently? They may as well. Everywhere you go all you see are people staring into phones - including people driving! Sometimes, out of boredom while commuting, I'll observe someone and they look so entranced that I think they may actually react violently if someone were to yank their phones away - not that I condone doing that lol. It's scary and sad. I'll walk by a bar (seems to be one on every block in Manhattan) and I'll see several people sitting at a tallboy table - 3 out of 4 will be staring into a phone. Why even bother socializing if all you're going to do is scroll on tik tok?

I agree though. Nobody socializes anymore and we’re all glued to our phones. I went on a date not too long ago and left my phone in the car. She did not so yeah…it didn’t go well lol.
