Wild to wake up to that news this morning. I guess the ship lost power as you can see in the video but there was also some sort of fire. A ship that large with no control or propulsion. The incident occurred at 1am. It’s tragic either way and there are reports of a construction team doing repairs but I can only imagine the devastation if this occurred during rush hour.

Hmmmmmmmm, off work already and deciding what to do with the rest of my day. I'm off tomorrow so I don't have to get home too early. One Life is playing at the theater and I had forgotten what it's about but having just read the synopsis, this is definitely right up my alley. I should go see it but not sure that I will. Think I'll just end up at Chili's for lunch and then Barnes & Noble to do a little reading.

So far this year I've worked for Comfort Keepers and RI International, will probably be adding Nezzy Care to that list soon. Hoping it'll be a case worker job instead, however if it is Nezzy Care that probably needs to be my last job change before Iowa. Don't want to look like a job hopper on top of not having better behavioral health services experience.

Many many lawsuits coming. A cargo ship that size with such a small stretch/span of bridge to go underneath should have been under tugboat guidance.

Another good explanation. The bridge had no bumper or concrete barriers known as dolphins to take the blow from a ship. He goes into detail about it in this vid.

I've been sick the past couple of days. While not really nauseous, I've completely lost my appetite. It's weird to have zero appetite. I open my cupboards and, as though a BS filter was removed from my psyche, I see a bunch of the weird crap that I normally eat as it actually is, with no emotional attachment to it.

I never realized how much we intrinsically think about food...until we don't.
