4 canceled 9-3 shifts in a row, time to go talk to some DDW agencies about possible 9-3 or 3-11 positions.

How much right is he? I'd say 88.8% ... minimum.
It's what it is, where the money is.
Want examples? Nah, you guys have already all the examples you need to concur.

* Flicks like Oppenheimer are part of the 11.2% (exception).
It made very very good money, just not as much as Barbie though.

Furiosa vs Garfield? Furiosa is already out of steam and going to stream in two weeks.
Bad Boys? Kid's stuff.

I'm going gardening now.

Picked up a 9-1 CK shift tomorrow and a 8-3 (possibly 7-3) CK shift for Thursday. So at least 18 CK hours for this week to help off-set the lost 3 9-3 shifts from my other employers. At this point just assuming the 9-3 M-W shifts are just gone and don't want to rely on grabbing CK shifts because that's so sporadic so it's definitely time to go speak in-person with DDW offices unless a case manager job calls for an interview.

But is it really where the money is? Garfield is floundering and last year showed that most movies for 12-year-olds tanked royally. Richard is right and the audiences are starting to agree, I think.

Garfield (budget $60M) is gong to pass the $200M worldwide this week. That's almost 3˝ times its budget.Barbie made $1.5B

All the superhero flicks are not for mature intelligent serious adults. How long it as been going?

Why am I saying that; it's right there on our screens, in front of our faces. The culture of cinema is kid's money; it's the apes, the cartoons, the dolls, the caricatures of comic books, ...

Of course the guy is right; the audiences are the kids.

Target BOGO50% off...might be time to place another order or visit a local store.

I was just on IG and an Indian motorcycle post was up and I think it had the original song that this song sampled so that's got me thinking about nice Biggie sounded

I need to make a list of all those “new” movies that are now available on streaming, so I can watch them @ my sister’s house.

- Atlas
- Hit Man
- Lisa Frankenstein
- Madame Web
- The First Omen

And more that I don’t remember.

Yeah, fireproof leather. It's a mean bike, meant for Furiosa fans.

Actually it's a very nice bike; stylish and gripping for cruising along the West coast highway...the Americas.

I thought it was alright. We didn’t really learn anything new but anything attached to Cameron will get hits. Sad to see the daughter of PH Nargeolet interviewed. He lived in upstate New York and the house was put up for sale.

I’m exited for Cameron to embark on a new expedition to Titanic but with a certified sub. He should make a sequel to Ghosts of the Abyss. Whenever it happens I’m sure it will be widely covered on the news and well documented.

Cameron should make a sequel to Avatar 2, for IMAX 3D theaters.
...Instead of remaking True Lies in 4K for the home market.
That way it would resurrect movie theaters by making 3 billion US dollars, cash.
Home needs no resurrection, Hollywood does.

As for the idiot with its mickey mouse sub it is truly sad that he wasn't stop before killing three innocent people. His entourage should have acted accordingly and responsibly instead of doing nothing in accountability. I know you understand exactly what I'm saying.
It's despicable that it is happening in many sectors of our societies everywhere all the time all @ once. It is toxic and cancerous. That's why we have movies like Avatar to distract us from reality and plunge us into the world of Hollywood fantasy entertainment.

I'm gong climbing a mountain now, to keep me sharp and in shape.
I'll be back on my descent ...

My 9-3 individual has not had services for 6 shifts in a row and there's no reason to expect those shifts to resume. The interviewer at today's agency was someone I recognized from an agency I worked at last year and he was giving the other administrators a good impression of me. I'd be more worried about my trip to Minnesota next week being an issue if I didn't know how long these agencies take to start people's jobs.

I took on a new guitar student this week, first lesson was today. It will be a struggle; this young man doesn’t even own a guitar. Nothing to practice on/with at home. No interest in learning the conventional methods, either. That doesn’t mean too much to me, as I have always used and understood several methods of achieving the song/goal. But the fellow also doesn’t care about names of chords or strings, just playing songs. After two hours, he new the first three chords of Crazy Train, and the first two of Start Me Up. I had him playing a Telecaster through a Vox, so it had some sweet tone. I sat opposite him and had him parrot me as I played a Telecaster through a Roland. Next time? Next time we find out if he has drive; we will see if he retains one of the five chords he learned today. Why take on this particular student? Close family friend. When we were leaving the lower level, I noticed him slyly taking some pictures of the memorabilia and the guitar collection. I’m sure his pals will be impressed.
