166+29=195, highest total number of pages read the past 6 days and probably the highest total number of pages read in 1 day this year. Time for bed, need to do some housework and go to the library tomorrow.

Thinking of taking my running raincoat by the tailor when I swing by the library, smh I broke the zipper and need her to put on a new one.

Barn door makes more sense to me, back door would be more like butt.

Haven't made a trip to the library for myself in longer than I can remember. Sister recommended a decent number of books, I'll try to grab a bunch and hopefully read a few of them before I have to take them back or check them out again.

You know you're getting old when bands you follow just start retiring for good.

Sum 41. Tokyo Police Club.

I'm ok with them breaking up due to creative differences or deaths of band members (Beastie Boys, Nirvana) but retiring just hits differently.

Queen's been gone forever, they're not the same without Freddie.

Read the last few days:
120 pages
180 pages
173 pages
136 pages
166 pages
195 pages
188 pages
Maybe tomorrow will be the day I finally read 200+ pages in a day. Finished most of How High We Go in the Dark, will start 1 of the other library books after I complete that.

Is there a reason why you keep track of how many pages you read in a day? I keep track of a lot of minutiae when it comes to movies, but while I'm an avid reader, I've never thought to keep track of pages read.

Just being weird about it, don't think I've ever done it before, although I remember an odd juvenile habit of counting letters. Almost done with the first library book, think I'll read Final Girls Support Group next. Father will be back from the Midwest today so I need to finish cleaning up the house before he gets here.

Is there a way to hide my Community Profile page or remove it altogether? There's some jerk following me around spamming dozens of my posts and he's doing it by going to my Profile page and clicking on the "Show All Statistic" link. I'm flattered that they like me so much but it's pretty annoying and the attention is unwanted.

You may as well go back to using your original account if you're still being hassled. Maybe ask the mods if they can hide your profile page.

What a coincidence with me recently mentioning that I was thinking about applying for another credit card. I checked the mail this morning when I got home from work and I see that I was granted a credit extension from $4,700 to $5,700 so hopefully that will make a difference with my score

I come back from vacation to learn the recent 4K releases of Jaws 3 & The Revenge were given the Cameron AI treatment.

That's why you stick to the OG film and ignore the rest.

I don't remember seeing any of the Jaws sequels, but the Back to the Future trilogy holds a very special place in my heart. I saw the first many times on VHS in 1988, and then Parts 2 & 3 in theaters. I don't have the 4Ks yet, but I'm planning to change that very soon.
