I'm really happy that I'll have two weeks with them this year.

Mom and I will probably take a little trip. She really wants me to move out there and she thinks that I would like Northern Georgia so that's probably where we'll head. I have been back East a few times and there are some places that I would love to revisit. Gatlinburg in Tennessee is one as well as Colonial Williamsburg in Virginia. I'll take a look on Google maps at some point and get an idea of distances. Mom is paying for everything so don't want to add to the cost too much which traveling further will do.

What about Athens? Have you never been to Athens? If so, it is truly a crime punishable by law by beheading. If I had to move anywhere in Georgia, it would probably be there. I love it. The homeless issue is a bit of a problem, but I can overlook that for the amazing town that it is.

it's a college town, but it's the coolest college town. If you can't live there, the next best college town is Auburn.

Australia Breakdancing / Kangaroo move

In 2028 in Los Angeles we won't see this competition; what do you think?

If you've followed the summer Olympics you know what I'm talkin' bout.
If not just watch the Australian competitor above; how she got there I have no clue.
Supposedly she won some competitions in her own country; enough to get her a spot @ the Olympics ... really?!!
What kind of judges they have in Australia; popularity contest type?!?
The kangaroo move ... really?! What's next; the elephant move?

And, whatch her green outfit too. Lol, if that is being an athlete might as well have an Olympic competition of who's eating the most hotdogs in ten minutes.

Did you watch the 2024 summer Olympics in France?
Or did you watch Deadpool and Wolverine @ a theater near you; IMAX (((3D))) ?

Tentatively excited for tonight's 2-10 shift. Actually going to leave my personal cellphone at home and take my work cellphone but power it down before I walk into the individuals' house.

Yeah unfortunately you cannot share the videos. NBC has ‘em locked down good because of copyright.

Do you mean that you can't view the two short videos I posted above?
There are other networks that you can check videos of the Olympic summer games.
You live in the USA, a free country? Make sure of it.

I guess CBC is a Canadian Broadcasting Corporation.
You can always move to Canada ... we have the Rockies, we have the killer whales, we have the best seafood, we have the best Québec country food and the real poutine. We even have the best Italian food, and sausages.

Australia Someone's opinion

Also, I slightly disagree with the judges giving the gold medal to the Japanese girl Ami.
To me the young Lithuanian girl Nicka was better, but I'm no expert in breakdancing.

This is not the full competition, only few clips of it. The full show is on CBC; the reason why I'm not posting it this time, for my US friends.

Went to Toronto a few years ago for one of my son's travel hockey tournaments....we got our arses kicked, but I loved the city and checked out the HHOF. I have always wondered what it would be like to live there.....and yes, poutine is one of the foods of the gods.

Impressive to attend a hockey conference in Canada considering you’re in Pennsylvania. Not surprised you got beaten up lol. Hockey isn’t popular up in northern PA. No school teams and our rink closed some time ago. We have the baby penguins at least in Wilkes Barre.

Forgot to ask if you ever hiked around the old PA turnpike tunnels.

I fully appreciate the opening and artwork now. Woke up and the whole room was spinning counter-clockwise. Took a few minutes before I was comfortable standing up. Maybe two hours before it was mostly gone. Doctor gave me a physical. I'm pretty healthy. Told me I had benign vertigo, caused by these stones in the ear fluids being out of balance. I think the James Stewart character described a sensation like needing to vomit, and I had that too (but did not vomit). Been noticing some dizziness in the last several months to a year, but never anything like this.

You would be surprised how far a Tier I hockey team will travel for a hockey tournament....I know of numerous teams in and around southeastern PA that travel to Michigan and even down to the Nashville/Carolina areas. It costs a crap load of money to do, which is why we don't play travel hockey any longer.

I never hiked in those areas, but it would be pretty cool to do with the Halloween time of year coming....I was always found those areas kind of spooky.

I guess this offer tomorrow is decent if you order the larger sizes. The boba refreshers come close to $7.

I got Starbucks awhile back because reasons and 2 small cups of coffee for $6 made me wonder how most people justify the cost.

Just had a tuberculin skin test, waiting for my constitution before I head out for a 6 mile run and then eat lunch.
