Yes, took my kids when they were younger. I didn't do many rides myself, as the kids were too small at the time.

To be honest, the older I got, the less inclined I have been to go to any amusement parks. Of course, in that time, I bought my Harley, got into Home Theater (see my signature), travel hockey, the aforementioned divorce/child support and now had my current home built last year....so my time/hobbies/money have been invested into other things for the last 15 years......and I am not a young guy, will be 57 in October.....just trying to keep up with it all.

I need help. The backlights on my tv are decaying. Should I bother with getting them repaired? Or should I just buy a new TV?

So funny story. A new girl started at my work and I had to train her and she was really pretty. I kept it professional and she needed a printer set up so I did that for her and even printed a silly test page saying Mike (Jason) was here. She hung it on her wall! So I was like alright..something could be brewing.

I was scheduled to go on vacation at the end of the week and decided to turn up the heat once I returned. Wellll she freaking quit by the time I came back to work! Apparently she found a better paying job.

Bring this chic a coffee or something to spark the convo! Hesitating will not get you anywhere and vacations could = doom lol.

Damn, that sucks. I would have been quite disappointed as well. With this girl, last Friday was going to be her last day of work before vacation. She has Saturday and Sunday nights off and then her vacation would start. I expected to see her Friday and she was gone. I figured she went for 11 days instead of the 10 that she had signed up for. So I was bummed. And now last night I'm not expecting to see her and she's there.
The issue is always going to be my insecurity and my fear of rejection. I'm guessing she's about half my age. I've always been insecure. I didn't know when I was younger that I have social anxiety. I knew I was different and I had a hard time in social settings but I didn't know then that it was called social anxiety.

I don't know. Anyway, maybe I'll get around to it. I don't really get any signs from her one way or the other. There's maybe a couple things that I could see as pluses but I could just be overanalyzing them incorrectly. The only opening she kind of gave me was when she told me to just shove it in. Unfortunately, she was talking about this small stack of paper that I was replacing since the printer was out. I hadn't thought of the "is that how you like it" question at the time and if I had, I probably would have kept it to myself I'd like to think that's really what she'd like me to do but when talking about putting one thing into another thing, there's only so many ways you can say it and they can all sound kind of dirty; stick it in, slide it in, put it in etc

Did you try finding her on social media? Is this the chic with the 350z? I thought she had a boyfriend. Nothing wrong with a bit of recon. But yeah you can always ask about her vaca to get some more info as it’s pretty harmless.

It’s tough because getting rejected by someone you work with will make you miserable moving forward as you still have to work with them.

Yeah, this is the same girl. I did ask her the other night if she was a street racer and I mentioned her cars and she just said that she liked them. She didn't mention one of them belonging to her boyfriend. I'm not sure if she has one or not. The big thing (thought I mentioned it in last post but guess not) is that she's nearly half my age I'm thinking. I would guess she's 26 to 29 maybe. Not too young for me but she could think of me as like a dinosaur

I did plan to ask her about her vacation. Maybe suggest that she canceled it because she couldn't bear to be away from me for so long
