Thinking about the 3-7 shift for tonight I picked up. Think I'll go run 3 miles on the trail near the house then make dinner and head to my shift.

Yeah i outgrew those places many years ago myself lol....

I watched a video recently of someone who went to Six Flags New England formally Riverside Park, and the prices even for smaller amusement parks is crazy today! How the hell do kids go to these places today without the parent having to spend a days salary. So glad i was a kid in the 80's, all of the fun stuff has either been closed due to safety and insurance reasons or you need a large bankroll to just have a day of fun at a park now!

Totally not worth it for rides that average 90 seconds in duration. Plenty of scary rides I'd never set foot on, though. Not at my age lol. Getting old sucks.

BTW, food prices were insane. Average meal costs $24 and change for what I consider tiny portion(s). Small bottle of water was five bucks
Yeah the food prices are insane. At Disney, you’re allowed to bring outside food & beverages which always surprised me.

Personally, it's not so much that I've outgrown theme parks, it's more that I feel like my body won't be able to withstand the rides much longer (I just turned 50). I got banged around pretty hard on one particular ride. Oddly enough, I woke up the next day feeling fine so maybe that's a good sign. But that sticker shock! My goodness. It's insane.

My brother is in the ER because his cat tripped him and he fell on his subwoofer. Cracked his ribs and he has a collapsed lung.

A film that really needs a 4K release is Oliver Stone's Heaven & Earth.

Apparently it's a hybrid mattress but the frame seems to be missing parts so it may not be possible to put the frame together. I'll get a box spring for it after I get my second amzn paycheck

Mama colored her hair again. Told her I wish people her age would show their grey. "**** you" was her response. Why mad? She started listing rock stars from the '60s, like they all don't look weird with no grey.

Reminds me of the cat from Pineapple Express!

Tomorrow is my final shift with my 8-12 client, that's going to be an awkward goodbye lol.

Cause and effect....the cat was the cause as to how the subwoofer cracked his ribs and collapsed his lung, which is the effect. So, I'll take subwoofer for the win Alex.

But I won my pool match last night

My car insurance rates are going up again. I did a search and found this:

*Auto insurance rates are projected to soar by 54% in California in 2024.

*California is among three states expected to see auto insurance rate hikes of more than 50%.

*As of June, the average annual cost for full coverage was $2,417 in California, up 45% from a year ago.

What the hell is going on? I feel like I'm being ripped off but insurance is mandatory. Not sure how some are able to afford it.
