The start of my 3-day weekend. I got 5 days off this month. I am planning on seeing Smile 2 this weekend.

Gucci and Versace are not Jermyn Street nor are they Savile Row, not even close. Budd Shirts and Emma Willis are Jermyn Street while Turnbull & Asser is Jermyn Street and Savile Row.

The Mayfair Borough of London, England is the Savile Row vicinity, while the Saint James’s Borough of London, England is the Jermyn Street vicinity. The former vicinity is mostly bespoke tailors, while the latter vicinity is mostly bespoke shirt makers.

But both vicinities have all kinds of bespoke clothing and shoe makers, but only where the longevity of the product is justified by the steep prices. Garments like hosiery and undergarments are not available bespoke due to lack of longevity and some legal issues that could pop up.

What's on my mind? My employer decided not to pay me today even though I am bi-weekly. I confirmed I see my paycheck from 10/4, but I was supposed to get one today and nada. I'm going to raise hell about it and I think if I get any pushback, I'm going to walk off the job. I've worked for them for just over a month, but I have 11 years of experience in the field and this, in addition to not getting support from my one co-worker and supervisor when I ask for it, is really starting to leave a bad taste in my mouth.

I didn't have to work so no one forced me to. But I'm still irritated with how things worked out.

One thing I've learned in the past 11 years of my professional career is always put yourself first. I value my time and unless I am compensated well for it, I won't put in extra. Often times, working harder only invites more work but not more pay. Work less, play more. I had an employer who used to bother me every time two other co-workers would abuse FMLA and call out. They never got fired, but I definitely worked my share off my days off. Those two never got fired, I ended up leaving for an employer who gave me a raise for my extra effort (4% year over year) and respected my time. You can always find another employer, you can never get your free time back.

Imagine the profit margin for their outfits like that, Gucci claims that everything is produced in Italy, though if you check that is not the case anymore. It is smart of them though to convince rich people to buy their ugly clothing that 90% of the time is basically a walking billboard for them with how many logos of theirs they put on them...

I took a package with a prepaid label to the Post Office without realizing it was Surepost, which should've gone to UPS. It was a high value Ebay order and now I'm potentially screwed. Do they send it back to me or attempt to deliver it themselves? Funny thing is, UPS Surepost gets final delivery from the USPS, not UPS. Tracking has not changed from "Carrier is waiting for package"
