There's no need to guess. A passport is sufficient ID to fly domestically. This is a direct quote from the U.S. Dept. of Homeland Security:

"If you are traveling internationally you will still need your passport. If you are traveling domestically, you will only need one valid form of identification – either your REAL ID or another acceptable alternative such as a passport, not both."

Yeah I believe the big thing with REAL ID was that you needed it to board a domestic flight. It takes full effect in ‘25 for us Pennsylvania folk. Seems like the date keeps getting pushed back. I have a passport so never felt the need to have both. I think it costs more at the DMV as well if you get it during your driver’s license renewal.

For PA...we have to have one to board a domestic flight? Or is my passport good enough?

Your passport is overkill. yes, it will work and that’s what I use. I go on a lot of cruises and you need your passport so I tend to always take it on flights.

However, You can still use your regular ID for domestic flights up until May 2025 which is when the REAL ID kicks in.

Bose bought Mcintosh and Sonus Faber. Interesting. Hopefully they leave Mc and SF alone.

Heh…I’m not sure how I feel about this. Bose going after the big dogs. I wonder what they paid. We’ll see what happens. Not much changed after they were sold a few years ago.

Tomorrow will be 3 months since I dropped the player off.

I have 6 fantastics and 3 greats for 9 weeks of delivering. Fantastic needs to continue to be the floor, great really means "mediocre" and fantastic really means "above average". Fantastic plus is the goal but we'll see if I ever hit it. Would probably need to get 100% great pictures, 0 bad metrics and average more than 27 stops per hour while driving safely.

As far as price points go...Bose prices are inflated.....good speakers, but not THAT good based on the price. Wonder if this philosophy will trickle down to McIntosh and Sonus.

Saw the Beetlejuice beetlejuice 4k Steelbook at Walmart. Tempted to pick it up but already have it shipping from Amazon with a gift card attached.

ALSO caught a mouse. I’m pretty sure he was the bastard who got into two bags of chips. RIP little friend. You had a nice little black ops Jack Bauer mission going on for a solid week but all good things come to an end.

sfmarine, I just hope your indifference toward cute little mice comes to an end

Just stepped into Dennys and they had some song from a female artist. I had never heard of it but it made me think of that song by Sheryl Crow. I think it’s from Sheryl Crow. They didn’t really sound alike but still, it made me think of that song. Google says the name is…Summer Day. I do have her best of album on my iPod but not sure if that one is included. It must be! And now either 10,000 Maniacs or Natalie Merchant is playing. I think it’s her solo. Natalie has a great voice.

How much did you pay for your small 77" Sony OLED TV? ...$3,500 USD on super sale?
Does it support 3D?

Indeed. I’ll get over it. Curious if there are others but aside from the kitchen area, it’s been pretty quiet for the rest of the house. I have a lot of traps along the walls where they tend to run.

It's my Monday unfortunately. Being off last night, I slept regular hours. I actually went to bed pretty early I think once Child 44 was over. Mondays don't bother me really but I'd be lying if I said I was eager to go to work tonight. I want to place an Amazon order and one Target order but maybe I'll just wait until tomorrow. Looking forward to hitting up REI just to browse tomorrow after work. Except for the Amazon or Target order that I may place tomorrow, Thursday should be a no-spend day

If you are truly stuck (your brain) on OLED, and you have $10 grands to spare ... on a 98" screen.
Would you? I wouldnt; I'd look somewhere else ... Sony, LG, or a 4K projector with 3D support.
