Thinking about taking my last trip up to the mountains tomorrow after work. I'll be off at the usual 6:30am and then my weekend begins. Unfortunately, they just closed more of the road that I take. It's now closed at it's earliest point. Assuming the weather is clear and it's not snowing or raining, I should be able to keep busy and enjoy my time but I'm not sure what all I'll actually feel like doing. I'm really looking forward to sleeping in the car and seeing how warm I keep. I went up to the exact same area in April of last year and my feet ended up being quite cold. I had two pairs of cotton socks on and I'll be wearing warm noncotton socks this time. I would expect overnight outside temps to drop down into the 20s. Here is how far I could have gone just a few days ago (the end point) and the Sno Park is now how far I can go because of more snowfall.

Too, TOO many things. Trying to calm myself so I can make it through this week. Always worry when big events come up.

Would you? I wouldnt; I'd look somewhere else ... Sony, LG, or a 4K projector with 3D support.

Or just buy a Hisense 100" 4K TV at a steal like I did. May not be true OLED or 3D, but it's beats the pants off 98". Albeit not by much.

Thinking of adding a slight tweak to my sorting process in the sprinter vans tomorrow, gotta get that pace up from 19-27 stops per hour to 30+, especially since Peak is here.

Tomorrow will be a week since his passing. It’s been all quiet on the northern front since then.

How was the brother/sister trip ?

Watched this last night on Hulu. It seems like it divided many people. You either loved it or hated it. I’m a bit in between but I’m glad I didn’t blind buy it for $30. Way too much fan service.

Wow, even better. That's a good size for a flat panel TV. Is that a QLED?
How did you get such a deal; normally @ that size they are much more expensive.

* From now on I don't think we'll see deals like that anymore; tariffs.
Unless you live outside of USA.

** Did you notice the prices of new 4K Blu-ray movies releases this year?
It's much cheaper to view them @ the theater near you; if you don't have to drive and you're not buying their junk food.

It was overall really good. The first day was horrendous, as I got sick on the plane ride to Orlando and threw up all over myself. Stuck there for an hour with this crap all over my shirt and my face. Then about mid-week in, I got a huge gash on my ass. It's just above my right cheek. It's gone down, but it stlll hurts like a motherfecker. Aside from all that, I had fun. The new Tron ride was really well done with its staging and all (didn't ride) and they have so much Tron merch. I got a shit ton of shirts (pullovers, sweatshirts, tees, sprit jerseys) and other stuff. A good chunk of that was presents/gifts for friends. Two different parks had an after hours holiday party. At Hollywood, they had a great Nightmare Before Christmas stage play/sing-along that was totally awesome. Ate lots of great food, too. But I am glad to be home. 5 days and 5 parks is exhausting. I'd say more exhausting than the Boston Marathon.

I got it at Best Buy. It was part of their Black Friday deals. Yes, it is QLED. It's a Hisense, which is why I think the price was so low. Though, this particular model is usually $2,999.99. I can't say if it will fit on my wall with my current configuration, but I am going to make it work because I am not getting rid of it. It's already sold out at that price. Right time right place.

**Yes, it is true that it's much cheaper these movies at your local theater. But you cannot compare the two. I pay nothing to see movies at the theater since I have Regal Unlimited. So, I can see as many movies a month that I want. So, it's not a fair comparison. However, the price monthly for Regal Unlimited is about the same price as buying a 4K movie though. Also, the prices of new 4K releases this year are no different then they were 5 years ago. Much less last year. About the only people charging a premium price are the boutique labels. But it's worth it. What's the alternative? Physical media goes the way of the dodo because y'all are bigger cheapskates than Scrooge McDuck? I don't think so. You pay a premium price for the services rendered. That's how it works. You cannot get discounts. Do hair stylists offer discounts? How about electric companies? It's life. Now deal.

Dude, I totally understand your frustration. I was partnered 3 years before turning 30. But by the time I was 36, they passed away. Since then, I spent 9 years totally alone until my mother died. I realize now part of the reason why I didn't want to get back out again. At least subconsciously. The dating scene sucks BIG TIME. Are there advantages to being with someone? Yes, there are. However, you can get most of that from friends and the occasional on the side rendezvous. There is not much need for coupling. The headache of trying to find someone isn't worth what little you may get.

Yeah 5 parks in 5 days is a lot of walking. Did you stay at the GF? I’m looking forward to Tron. The last time I was down there it was for a cruise and I only had 1 park day so I went with EPCOT. Gives me something to look forward to the next time.

Yeah, we stayed at the Grand Floridan. We probably won't be doing that much going forward. We have found that OUR hotel is the Contemporary. I got a really nice Tommy Bahama pullover there with the Contemporary stitched on there. It's REAL NICE. You will like the Tron ride. Be forewarned that it is not for the faint at heart. My sister says it shoots you out going from 0 to 60 right away. Like 10 seconds or under. EPCOT is AWESOME. Probably my favorite park there. The walking was VERY painful at times due to having a blister on the bottom of one of my toes. As well as a bunion. It's not that bad (the bunion), but i will probably need surgery on it at some point.

The only Omen film that I've seen is the 2006 one. I liked it quite a bit and I'd like to get the Blu Ray but I prefer buying new from retail. I know it can be found on Amazon marketplace but I haven't gone that route yet. I almost got the smaller collection for $26 something from Target. Getting that along with some other film I was thinking about would have put me over $40 and I would have been able to save $5 with a Target offer but I didn't do it. Haven't started kicking myself yet but I probably will eventually.
I also need to get The Curious Case Of Benjamin Button on Blu Ray as well.

The First Omen (2024) movie is really good. That is my second favorite movie of the year. You should try to see it, but only after watching the ‘76 The Omen.

I regret not watching The First Omen in the theaters.

I wouldn't mind checking out The First Omen but not sure if I'll get around to watching it. I don't stream so my only option would be to buy it. Maybe you can buy it for me
