Bottleneck Gallery are having a timed charity Parks & Rec print where 100% of the proceeds go towards the Los Angeles Fire Dept. The print is just $25 (plus shipping) and the print run will be determined by how many are sold through Sunday January 12th at 11:59 PM EST.

We woke up today to truly devastating news and imagery of rampant wildfires spreading throughout Los Angeles and parts of California. Many of us at the gallery know friends, family, artists, and printers, affected by these fires, and we see the damage being caused currently. In an effort to get some much-needed funds to all of the brave firefighters battling the widespread fires, we’ve teamed up with Mark Englert again to release a special charity variant of one of his most beloved prints.

Mark’s print, Let’s Get To Work (Pawnee National Park), is inspired by Ron Swanson, Nature, and the beauty of being outdoors. Mark has generously created a new variant exclusively for this charity, and we’re hoping to raise even more this time around than we did for the previous 2018 fires.

100% of the proceeds from this print release will go to the Los Angeles Fire Department in order to fund more hydration backpacks, which help firefighters as they combat the wildfires plaguing California. Just realized I have now been a member of this website for 16 years as of today...boy does time fly! When I joined, I just got my first LCD TV (which is still doing TV duty in my bedroom to this day,) my wife was pregnant with my son and my daughter was not in school yet....now I have been divorced for 4 years, daughter is a sophomore in college and my son is in 10th grade....life does not slow down.

My wife has relatives that live in Pacific Palisades; their house was completely burned down along with the local eateries and church they went to. Just heartbreaking.

Sorry to hear that. Insurance companies aren't helping. They're dropping policies and not issuing new ones. My brother and stepfather both had their policies dropped and had to find new insurers.

Yeah, back in April some insurance companies (State Farm) canceled fire insurances to homeowners.
Now living in California is like living in Gaza

So it took Shout Factory TWO weeks to get back to me regarding disc replacements. They said they're only in the office a few days a week and blah blah but said to give them two weeks.

Then they sent me a confirmation for one of the movies but not the other film...

Who knows when/if this will get resolved. I'm dealing with a dumpster fire.

Not the best look for the insurance companies in our current climate. My fam and I are in Burbank and watching for evacuation notices. There's no wind today, so we're safe at the moment. A buddy of mine evacuated from Pasadena and doesn't know yet if he lost his house. It's pretty chaotic here. We've got two kids, two dogs, and two cats, but we're ready to go to friends in Long Beach whenever we need to. Despite all previously established indications to the contrary, I was really hoping 2025 would be a better one...

So I mentioned a while back how my idiot neighbor lets his dog run loose all the time. I can probably count at least half a dozen times i encountered him in the middle of the road. To which I thought…”only a matter of time before it gets hit.”

Well…I haven’t seen the dog in over a month. I wonder if it got hit.

Just cancelled a dental appointment for routine cleaning. We're supposed to visit a dentist twice a year but these guys set up appointments for me every 3 months. My teeth aren't in that bad shape.

Are you able to share how you became a mod? If not, that's totally OK...I was just curious how that happens.
