I forgot I had one of my extension cords plugged in for the quad to charge the battery during the winter. We haven’t had much snow so I never plugged the trickle charger into the socket.

My issue is it’s one of those lighted ends so it’s been on for a month! Prolly doesn’t use much electricity but she’s unplugged for now.

I just did some quick calculations, and it looks like the household is going through about two gallons of good Rum per month. I don’t drink alcohol at all, so that’s not me. Daaaang.

Reconnected with an old high school buddy but he’s a bit of a mooch/freeloader. He had me buy baseball tickets over the summer and said he’d pay me back but never did. Mentioned how he would “get the next one” lol. He lives in the city and doesn’t drive.

I’ve avoided eating out at restaurants with him because I don’t want to pay for it. So I’ve been sticking to fast food. But yeah..he never offers to get me something in return. Left super early for Philly a few weeks back and I brought him McDonald’s. It was BOGO at least…We stopped at a rest stop off the turnpike and he got Dunkin’ but didn’t ask if I wanted a coffee or anything lol. It’s just awkward at this point.

Needless to say…I won’t be going to any more baseball games with him.

How should I handle things going forward?

Kick him in the teeth the next time you see him. Or just tell him what you told us and that he can kick rocks.

lol. Yeah I’ve pretty much cut down on hanging with him or buying any food or drinks. We were upstate and hit a rest stop. He said he was hungry & I mentioned that I was going to Sam’s club. Well he really must’ve been hungry because he bought food in the (very overpriced) food court. So I guess when he has no other option he will give in. Made him pay for his hot dogs at Sam’s as well. He was quiet on the ride back lol.

Went to a vintage arcade which was cool.




I got $10 in tokens. He got none lol like bruh you’ve gotta meet me halfway here.

Oblivious! Ok…they didn’t say “strong” but “durable” is the same thing.

Hey sf, your post about the Arrow release of Inglourious Basterds reminded me that it's out now and I want to make sure I get a copy from Barnes & Noble before their sale is over. I'm actually at the same store again today but they stopped getting new movies awhile back since they're closing.

And I'm not sure I would actually say anything to the friend that is a mooch but I know that I would want to.

Better jump on the release! It's selling out at a lot of locations including Amazon and Walmart. B&N will not let you order it online so you'll have to call around. The transfer is the same as the Universal release but the overall package with all the goodies is sweet!

I got the impression that I could order it online but I don't have access to my account and don't want to create a new one. I'm assuming that I can check out as a guest but I don't want to do that either.
