Well, I'm still not sure where I'm at yet mentally. Or maybe I am. I dunno. She seems all in but I just don't know yet.

I’m not getting my 2-liter of soda today but I just remembered that I have a 20oz bottle of orange Fanta in the fridge

I'm sorry to hear that. Hopefully things will turn around.

Got back from my sister's house and lifting weights at the gym to find out there's reduced volume at my main job so I have no route tomorrow. Don't know why they couldn't just bump someone else and give me their route, oh well. Just gives me more incentive to keep digging for a moonlighting job.

Because they have the income. Here's how to pay no income taxes--stop making money. Problems solved.

Despite being one of the lowest taxed first world countries, we are never happy paying for all the things the Romans have given us.

Cars on my mind. Both my Explorer and my wife's CR-V has check engine lights on. Mine is a 2012 with high mileage, and the light itself has been on for quite some time. I know there's issues, it's just a matter of time + money on getting those issues resolved. The CR-V is a 2018 with only 50,000 miles. The light on that just came on today; but now another worry. Alway's something. I hope it's a fluke or something minor.

I was tipped $5 the other day at work for holding someone's luggage a few minutes. That's income - should I report it to the gov't? What about the money I make from selling digital codes? Also, I don't know where YOU'RE from but where I'm from, we pay a ton in taxes. I pay more than my fair share, thank you very much.

BTW, the Romans never reached the Americas so we have nothing to thank them for, except maybe their contribution(s) to Hollywood screenwriter's imaginations. I know one particular Ridley Scott film from 2001 that was really entertaining.

They probably bumped you because you are lower in seniority. That's usually how it works.

Yeah I know, guessing the people who got routes today are either people who've been there longer than me or people who regularly get top 5 in metrics. Or both. 163 days for me so I'm not new but not quite a "veteran" either.

I picked up the Constantine 4K steelbook yesterday at Walmart. It was the only one they had and it's showing sold out online. I was back there today getting a few items and they put 1 more out. It's a sweet steel with debossing. Anyone else score a copy?

.
Only if you work in the service industry and are required to report tips. This sounds like a one-off situation.

I could edit. Maybe I should edit. But I won't

I am looking forward to visiting my parents in Georgia again this year. My mom thinks I should take a solo trip to Greenville, SC for a few days and perhaps she and my stepdad can come up and meet me there. We briefly drove through Greenville on our way to Asheville last year. They have a USPS P&DC like I work at here in San Jose.
Anyway, I'm really looking forward to visiting them and since my 200 hours of AL was advanced to me in January, I can go anytime I want

Well, if you ask on a public forum whether you should break the law or not, don't be surprised if someone tells you you shouldn't.

BTW, gifts are not taxable to the recipient. They are not income. However, if you are providing services to a customer, and they give you something, it is considered a tip. Tips over $20 a year are taxable, regardless of industry.

Quote:
A group of people were talking about the movie Indecent Proposal at a party. Most of the agreed that they'd sleep with someone for a million dollars. Later that night, one of the men got a bit drunk and asked one of the women if she'd go to the restroom with him and give him a blowjob for $20. She said, "what kind of woman do you think I am." He replied, "I know what kind of woman you are; we're just negotiating price."
At what point does a small tax lie become a crime worth prosecuting? If I download a pirated movie instead of paying for it, is it more a crime than cheating $5 out of the government?

not sure about this update but I'll mention that...never mind. I have an old Yahoo Mail account that is at least 20 years old and it's been locked due to inactivity. Not a big deal but Hotmail wants to send me a code to unlock the nearly as old account and it wants to send it to that locked Yahoo account. What I don't like is that apparently you actually have to pay if you want to reach Yahoo customer service by phone WTH?! Okay, so I guess I did kind of mention my story lol

I have been meaning to ask you though...I believe you said that you purchased a new watch awhile back and I'm wondering what kind you got.
