I found a can of Spam in the cupboard dated 1/23.

Think it's still good?

Maybe I should just change my avatar to a squirrel at this point.

Here are some options:

All I did was do a search for "armed squirrels" and there are LOTS of choices.

Jeff Goldblum was caught checking his red carpet photos while at the Oscars.

As if I couldn’t love him even more!

Alright,...so I decided to change up my avatar for a bit to honor our friend, Vilya as he undergoes his procedure today. I'm sure it will give him a good laugh.

It will confuse many on here in the regular threads haha, but if you know, you know. Glad to be part of this little community here in the General!

I will be under general anesthesia for the whole thing. There are many potential side effects from the painful common ones to the rare life threatening ones. The potential benefits last about 5 years. Recovery takes 4-6 weeks.

My heart condition complicates things as it does with everything, so this procedure is a bit riskier for me.

Here is a 90 second animated video if anyone cares to see it placed behind spoilers for those that do not want to see it:

Please wish me luck and have a better week than I will.
I have had a TURP myself a few years ago. Good luck to you.

Another Oscars telecast I skip. Haven't watched a full show since the Billy Crystal days. I never know the Best Picture winners and, frankly, don't care. One film I did catch a few days ago that I think deserved an award was The Conclave. I have no idea if it was nominated for anything but it should've been. You don't see films like that anymore.

I definitely do miss Billy Crystal and it's too bad they haven't brought him back to host. I bet he would still kill it even though he's older. They did have him out to present with Meg Ryan.

I need to see Conclave. The film was up for Best Picture along with Ralph Fiennes for Best Actor and his co-star, Isabella Rossellini for Best Supporting.

While I have not watched The Brutalist yet, Adrian Brody took home his second Oscar for Best Actor. I knew he had the advantage, but It's a shame Fiennes lost again.

It's a shame that Timothée Chalamet lost the award. Same for Demi Moore and the dude from Anora that was up for best supporting actor. Adrian was really a class A jerk last night. There always has to be one of them at these things. Dude, Don't be a douche. Just accept your award, thank folks quickly, keep your mouth shut, and be grateful you get to do something like this for a living. These types piss me off. If I had the opportunities like that I would never stop being grateful and I would NEVER be a douche. I mean it's not like he's Clint Eastwood or Tom Cruise for God sakes. He's not even close to that popular. How has he been able to have a career is beyond me.

*steps off soapbox and goes back to being miserable*

Some days I just don't know why I bother.

No worries; all is fine on the Western Front.

And on the global scene we're in a financial crash path; don't ask me why ... like me you have a set of eyes and ears, activing an animated brain.
March 4th is today; fasten your seat belts, or just get out of the train wreck (don't drive sort of speak). Watch a movie @ home or a theater near you where you can walk into.

Wondering what to do today. I thought IHOP was on the menu but now I’m thinking about IKEA. sfmarine said they have half off at their cafeteria on Tuesdays and I wonder if that’s still true.

Cheeze Weeze ... how that feels to let all run out of your chest? Don't sweat the small stuff; it's only for the show.
